  • David's parts are so simple yet very effective. His voice is OUTSTANDING. And I agree with the person who said he wasn't given enough parts in this song. There were too many people singing high up in the rafters with their riffs. The whole point of the song almost got lost with this arrangement! But be that as it may, this song is still one of my favorites! David Archuleta is the best!

  • Yeah... Darlene's performance on this song was historical! :) But the American Idol did a really great performance, specially with David Cook's high notes that were fantastic! ^^

  • This wasn't in the performance on Idol Gives Back. It was in the studio version of this song. The studio is AH-MAZING and you can find it here on youtube. Look up 'Shout to the Lord Studio' in the search box. Message me if you can't find it.
