wasted 2:09 watching this...You can reduce the debate by asking muslim's what is god's coherent positive ontology...If one of them is capable to answer , then he not only wins the debate in less than a minute , but he also wins a nobel price...If no muslim is capable to answer that question, debate's over...
You're the one who is afraid to admit that he does indeed exist. Otherwise why would you feel the need to reassure yourself by posting blunt statements of your stupidity?
No real arguments by the atheist there , the brother is right when he says most atheists argue from an emotional point of view. I noticed that myself from some of my personal interactions with a number atheists in the past.
Mohammed,Jesus,Joseph Smith,L. Ron Hubbard, and many other religious figures all supposedly lived lives full of miracles, gathered over millions of followers some to this day, and taught men the divine secrets to attain salvation.
And every one of their followers will tell you the same thing. Their prophet, their guru, their holyman is the real deal, and all the rest were either misguided, a fraud, or didn't really exist. Can you really blame me for being an atheist?
All this debate shows to me is that people too often believe what they want to believe and only know how to argue within the framework of there culture and identity. This is why muslim kids usually become muslim adults, christian kids usually become christian adults and atheist kids usually become atheists when they grow up.
41:00 his whole premise may be wrong here. He is establishing that morals are objective and transcend us. This proves god. Therefore morals are objective because god made them
Instant circle. Circular arguments are bad. Objective morals prove god which proves objective morals. Circle!
You cant argue a circle, his entire speech is therefore an issue as it is not based on truth but on a circle. There is a flaw here.
5:25 I think the speaker misses the difference here. He should read the comment "Exceptional claims require exceptional evidence".
He talks about great great grandmothers. When claiming you have one there are evidences why you did. Also you are not making an exceptional claim. We can start to discuss it. We can take the first steps.
However with gods this is not true. You are making a claim about something we have no evidence for. Not just physical evidence.
Is it possible for comments that are even slightly critical of the Muslim side of the debate to be posted, or is this vid completely censored in that respect?
Most videos posted by atheists accept all comments. Shouldn't the same be done here?
If you can speak properly, without being a moron, then go for it. If you are going to act like an arrogant tard, then i will remove your comments. Go for your life :)
Masha'Allah the brothers are very well read on the topic (the atheists' arguments, were no more sophisticated than a lay atheist). I do wish, though, that the brothers would try to appear less offensive and slightly more mature at times, to retain academic respect from a wider audience. Though the atheists took some cheap shots, Muslims nonetheless need to show ihsan. There is a way of being humble and at the same time firm in your argument, I hope the brothers will improve in this insha'Allah.
Yesterday Only i came to know about Brother hamza, May Allah give him more whim and desire to fight for the Islamic cause, I think he gave awesome replies to Jay the evangelist on one of the Radio channles whose title was "Christianity or Islam, what is suitable for 21st century England"

The second speaker, the older gentleman, is very difficult to listen to.
8 minutes and I have not picked up what he is saying. I will attempt to listen again with a headset and higher volume :(

A swift cut of Occam's razor eliminates any reasonable argument about a god, especially a god we can know and understand.
chris3443 3 years ago
it should be the other way around. God exists and some people have the nerve not to admit it.
