I go to a catholic school. My religion teacher told us to watch this video and i almost cried during class. This video has A LOT of meaning to it if you know what volition means. My teacher told my class to post this video on facebook or email it to your friends. I advice you to do the same. Cause this video will be more popular, and one day maybe just maybe it can change somebody's life. So send this to your friends and family and maybe this video can make a difference some day. :)
@marektlipinski Please. It's typical of people to completely shutdown any semblance of reasoning the moment they're confronted with an argument different from theirs.
The parallels between pro-choice and other inhumane movements in history are about as clear as it gets in this film. Dehumanize the enemy. Do whatever you want with them. And swish!
I liked it, don't get me wrong, but I disliked how doctors are being compared to Nazis. The Nazis are remembered only for oppressing Jews, but doctors diagnose illnesses and prescribe medication. Only a small subsection of doctors do abortion , but even a smaller number of Nazis helped Jews. Also, slaves weren't killed just for being African. Granted, slavery is intensely wrong but the unborn don't only get beaten and oppressed but receive an instant end to the life they didn't live. A gave the
"Beautiful" seems like the wrong word...yet it really is impressive film making. I love the way the narration from one time period bleeds into the depiction of another. Ties it all together wonderfully.
expressions of love (or twisted love). It would have made changes in social-acceptability more interesting to see them with what you honestly make us feel is progressive (without caveats), but know is twisted. We empathized with the protagonist but there was a sharp drop off when it came to his dad and the slave owner. Too uneven. Awesome work though!
Awesome. It was very powerful when you cut from contemporary father figure to slave owner at 8:15. It seemed as if you had clipped to the slave owner speaking because he was saying what the father would perhaps think but not say because it is now socially unacceptable. I love the idea that the players have changed but the game has stayed the same. I love seeing sentences completed across centuries. I think you could have extended this from primarily statements about the victim to interpersonal
Wow, thank you for doing this, I know it was a huge undertaking, brilliant! One of the best videos I've ever seen grace the youtube community. BRAVO!!
This is superb. Sharing on the Secular Pro-Life blog. We all need to ask ourselves-- how will WE resist the status quo and defend human rights for all?
I so like this! Thank you so much for making this video, and for sharing this with us. This is really good material for faith formation. Easy to understand, and very powerful message. God bless!
Excellent video. The abortion world view is a slippery slope that devalues all human life. The slave scenes and Nazi Germany are valid comparisons, both were supposedly done for the good of the mother, the good of the slave, the good of the "Jude".
When will we learn and stop the rationalizing for the end of 53 million pre-born infants.
Another good film is "The Dripping Faucet" a project of Northwestern University senior's in the Twin Cities (MN).
Not only a true, powerful message, but one with a nuanced and beautiful delivery! Not sparing the horro, but executed in charity; this is a masterpiece!

Awesome production quality! Very well put together. Shame about the radical fundamentalist propagandist content.

This should be mandatory viewing for all people even considering an abortion. Abortion really is as bad as it says.

Great film!
I would suggest trying to make a shorter version that fits in 2-3 minutes because most people nowadays won't watch the whole 15 minutes.

One's contemporary, but all three are still going on today, just with different uniforms, causes, and people.
May there be change. Got to start with the heart. Soli Deo gloria.
