Seriously though, focus on developing melody by studying how people managed to created melody, so you can forge your own uniques style. Otherwise you'll end up sounding like a computer.

I like your playing, HATE the tone. It's really Ice Picky, which is weird because Basswood is usually very rolled off in top end(I've owned three basswood guitars, both cheap and expensive). Turn down the treble/upper mids It's really harsh and the peircingness almost takes away from the beauty of these CLEAN as a janitor sweep runs. That being said I think this would work in a band mix well.
