This is not football or hockey You don't intentially hard foul someone. mccauley played 32 mins and only scored 5 points and didn't defend or protect his basket the other 39 mins of the game. hence the butt kicking mooU received. mccauley should have been playing defence on that play, or why was he even in there??

Most every team in the NCAA will hold the ball when the shot clock is off and they are up by a substantial number. Its not a matter of hurting the other team's feelings, its a matter of showing respect to another school.
