Has feck all to do with Sam Hammam. It comes from the early 1990's on an Away trip where a City Fan watched the Funeral of Late Ayatollah. The People who where there did the "Ayatollah" live on tv. The Fan decided to do it on the Away Trip and singing "Do The Ayatollah". Since then it has stuck and every fan in Ninian Park does it. So Sam Hammam has nothing to do with the history. Thats where people get it wrong.
