@PeacelandMusic thanks for the reply, so is it just the slide touching the strings? would it work with any steel slide because i have a glass one and it dosent make any sound unless you pick it. cheers
@Greystash It has to do with weight and mass, we tried "glass only" and it was pathetically wimpy. That's why I designed it with our patended Glass/Metal combination. Yes, it is "just the slide" touching the strings, nothing else. I don't know about other slides. I only know that ours works.
Not at all... standard height. I like it low as possible, but still able to bend and grab the strings easily. I do use Hybrid Slinky with a 10 instead of a 9 though... the deeper strings are slightly heavier.
Thanks I use 10-46 and 11-50's on all of my guitars. But I find when I use any slide I am forever hitting the frets, is there a special technique to using a slide? I love your slide rings too they work great!
Less pressure! More gain! Gain helps alot! Just thumb behind, and use the middle finger if you only have one slide, so you can stabilize the slide with the other fingers. Only press "just enough" to get the note!
hey, is it the ring that makes the sound without picking or do you have another effect on?

@Greystash No effects. No gain, until later in the video. No sustainer pickup if that is what you are asking, definitely NOT!

@northlander30 Use less pressure... you don't need to press so hard, easy, easy...
