A muscle car, by definition, is a car with 4 seats, big V8 (with some exceptions) usually pushrod engine. Modern muscle cars, with the exception of the Fords, have all stuck to the OHV engine layout (hemi & small block). To say that Ferrari is anything close to a muscle car is just wrong.
@knutfheifer There's more to it. A muscle car is basically a blue collar performance car. They're just normal cars with upgraded suspension and a gigantic engine. Notice how every muscle car has/had a V6 version. Charger, Challenger, 300C, Camaro, Nova, Mustang, Falcon, Pontiac G8 & G6, Firebird, GTO/Tampest/Morano, etc.
A Ferrari or a Corvette are not blue collar cars. Not even if you get one for free. They're not meant to be, and they'll never be. That's what it is for the more part.

Let's for the sake of argument assume Mustang actually did inspire GM, in the same way Mustang was inspired by the Cobra. So what? If anything, it means the Camaro was the better car, as it was trying to BEAT the Mustang, not BE a Mustang.
Funny how the El Camino is so much more known than the Ranchero. Ain't it?

@wildbloodydragon actually the 2011 mustangs both v6 and v8s out perform the camaro in everything from straight line speed and cornering to MPGs they're both great cars and the camaro was better in the past but with the zeta platform weighing it down and the visibility issues the mustang is superior in everything.

@wildbloodydragon I am affraid, to your embarrasment, yes I do know what a muscle car is, I happen to also have a stingray in my garage and have owned this car for over ten years, I also have to the stable a ferrari dino, they are all good cars that handle in a different way oh I forgot the lamorghini espada, it's just that the corvette does not handle well, so it's a straight line for it, the ferrari will do all that and the lambo is raw power with decent handling, the dino drifts beautifully

But you still don't know what a muscle car actually is.
A muscle car, by definition, is a car with 4 seats, big V8 (with some exceptions) usually pushrod engine. Modern muscle cars, with the exception of the Fords, have all stuck to the OHV engine layout (hemi & small block). To say that Ferrari is anything close to a muscle car is just wrong.

@knutfheifer There's more to it. A muscle car is basically a blue collar performance car. They're just normal cars with upgraded suspension and a gigantic engine. Notice how every muscle car has/had a V6 version. Charger, Challenger, 300C, Camaro, Nova, Mustang, Falcon, Pontiac G8 & G6, Firebird, GTO/Tampest/Morano, etc.
A Ferrari or a Corvette are not blue collar cars. Not even if you get one for free. They're not meant to be, and they'll never be. That's what it is for the more part.
