  • Ruth Buzzi used to do a character on Laugh In who had a very salacious, suggestive laugh. Looking for a clip of her doing it.

  • I liked it alot!!!! :P

  • I love the Arte Johnson & Ruth Buzzi sketches. This is so funny.

  • Rickles...silent but still deadly. :-)

  • Trying to find that famous female comedian puppet that looks like Danielle Stubbs

  • I could watch goldie hawn go go dance all day long. Gorgeous.

  • You should upload videos of his, "Very interesting" character

  • I just watched this tonight with my mom. At first I thought it was a bit strange, but then I ended up laughing with her. Cool stuff. I approve.

  • Laugh In was the hip show back then

  • There's one similar sketch, probably Don Rickles's first appearance on Laugh In, where he starts cracking up as Tyrone enters singing his song. Rickles couldn't control himself as he's listening to the (unintelligible to me on my 36" TV in '98 watching TV Land reruns) lyrics, but it was hilarious - can anyone point me to that clip? Also the one where the Laugh In crew is touring Beautiful Downtown Burbank and are enthralled with the sights - Eiffel Tower, Sphinx, etc...

  • Goldie Hawn is as hot as it can get

  • Rickles wore a ballet dress later in the same show (!)

  • Is That Goldie Hawn dancing at the beginning..?.

  • @paulfromdonmills

    yes! :D

  • @paulfromdonmills actually... yes... but from what i understand, despite being on nearly every episode, she claims to not remember doing any of it

  • @luccaskunk well they say if you remember the sixties then you weren't there

  • @greenpilgrim50 yeah but I wasn't even born yet *shrug*...

  • OMG LMAO i remember these...rjm

  • Would you care for a Walnetto?

  • I grew up to this show in B&W so colour it's a brand new funny world. Yea, Don Rickles he was holding his own there trying not to crack up or take over, too funny

  • Yes. More Don Rickles. "Mr. Warmth"

  • I remember an episode back when Laugh In was still on, where Gladys says to Jack Benny, "Oh Mr. Benny, I watch your show on TV every night." Jack says to her, "I haven't been on TV for years."

She says, " that's OK I have an old set."

Tyrone comes on in another clip and says, "she sure does."

  • Don Rickles in drag omg lol lol

  • Having flash backs, oh my, here it goes again... Aaaaahhh, But seriously folks, YESYESYES, More Laugh-In please... by the way, has anyone seen my Bippie? Whew, I just really need and Arti Johnson on his tricycle fix... My Bippie, I know it's around here somewhere... "Thanks for the memories", oops, wrong show. Smile!!!

  • I love Don Rickles!

  • I'm a child of the nineties but I love laugh in :)

  • I grew up in Australia on laugh in and have fond memories still of the whacky humour and short jokes.

I love goldie hawn and still do and chelsea brown, ooxx

  • OH MY GOSH!!! This was way too funny!!! I just loved it!!!

  • I second the request for the Arte Johnson Bull Moose poem.. that would be great to see!!! I wish it was available somewhere.. there are only 2 hits on google, and one of them is the comment to this video ;-) The other one is not the video either.

  • This was my favorite show when I was 3. You notice how Goldie was the body they used the most for the tatoo?

  • I remeber this clip! I love these characters. I even remember the Saturday morning cartoon "Baggy Pants and the Nitwits" that had these characters.

  • Tyrone & Gladys

  • Great show and great clips. Some cable show was showing R&M and a couple of the news from the futures seemed to have been pretty accurate ;)

  • thanks for this it brings back memories, very funny, love it keep up the great work

  • Some may not realize the other 'gal' is Don Rickles.

  • TheRetroCafe: Yes, more Laugh In clips. Loved that show when it was on, and still love it, Thanks for the clips which you have posted. I'm particularly fond of the original cast shows. Sock it to me!!

  • Enjoyed the laugh-in video.

I needed a couple of clips of Arte Johnson Tricycle skit, but haven't been able to find it any where. If you could post it would be appreciated. Thanks - John

  • GREAT VIDEO....

  • haa im only a teen but my dad had this on tape and i remember watching it when i was 7. great comedy!

  • Great stuff, I remember this when I was a kid.

  • That slayed me!

  • no laugh tracks here ,live entertainment at its best at the time.everybody who owned a tv back then watched laugh in!

  • Actually, Laugh-In dispensed with a studio audience after the first few episodes. The show's rapid editing and quick sketches and sight gags, with some bits lasting only a few seconds, made shooting in front of a live audience impractical. Shows that followed the traditional comedy-musical-variety format (Carol Burnett, Dean Martin, the Smothers Brothers, Sonny & Cher, etc.) were taped in front of a studio audience, but even on those shows the audience reactions were often "sweetened."

  • I remember watching this as a kid late at night in U.S.A. Network..

    Great memories....

    This is so kick ass!!!

  • Don Rickles didn't say a word and I'm laughing!

  • Awesome, loved this when I was younger.

  • I used to watch Tyrone and Gladys in the cartoon series "Baggy Pants and the Nitwits". But I never knew this original sketch. Really funny.

Tyrone looks like Chespirito's "Doctor Chapatín"... obviously, Chapatín copied the Tyrone's aspect.

  • Goldie Hawn in that bikini...

I can remember watching the shows on VHS as a kid and having a super crush on her back in the day. She really was a 60's IT Girl. Super hot.

  • Me too, watched it live in the 60's. My jaw never failed to drop at the sight of Goldie body-painted. But she later said that she absolutely HATED doing this bit-after knowing that, I can see how "forced" she looks, barely hiding her distaste.

  • Gladys and Tyronne! Always looked forward to their park bench adventures. Ruth Buzzi and Arte Johnson were so much fun together! Thanks for posting.

  • love these scetches post more.

  • Love the blooper reel where Arte broke up Don during this skit.

  • I would KILL to see the classic "here after" dirty old man routine.

  • I love the tricycle guy running into the tree and the switchboard operator ones with Lily Tomlin- wish you could find some of those to put on youtube Thanks

  • Goldie got her start as a dancer, iffn you know what i mean.

  • Gladys Ormphby and Tyrone F. Horniegh

(two of the best characters ever!)

  • This is a classic. Love the old man! LOL

  • Comedy was simpler back then; so was Goldie.

  • Comment removed

  • Hi Mark, That's Don Rickles, and you are right in your earlier comment, Goldie IS hot. I was sooooo in love back then.

  • From left to right, that is Ruth Buzzi, Arte Johnson and Don Rickles

  • the only conversation I have in here is with myself, and I punked my own weak ass long ago. I seem very pleased with myself and my basic 'puter tricks. Such a lame child I am. My parents must be proud!

  • More!!! We need more of this.

  • OMG! Goldie Hawn's hot!
