  • Thanks to Teller for recommending this to me! A pro - and one of the first recyclers it seems. (that was a magicians joke btw :) )

  • I can watch this a thousand times.

    Rest in Peace Al.

  • Love Al Flosso, he's fantastic. So many people have copied his style since, but no one is quite the same as the man himself. I love this, thank you so much Fantasma!

  • Paul Daniels did a routine based on this once

  • its funny how people will let themselves be made idiots out of for their 15 minutes of fame! lol

  • Pretty Awesome!!!! I wish I met him though... He's pretty awesome!!!!

I never knew that magic was really awesome in the oldie days! I wish he was alive, at least in my heart and mind! :D That's the spirit! :] Wished that the new days was the old days. :D claps LOUDLY!

  • A true master...

  • thats funny and EPIC

  • W.C. Fields!!! And that is the way the ball bounces when you use someone else's talent!

  • That was magical.

  • That boy will never forget that experience for as long as he lives. Thanks Al Flosso for the endless memories!

  • "That's the one I want. Blown it in there"

Brilliant!!! A true legend if ever there was one.

  • Al Flosso! Born, Albert Levinson in Brooklyn in 1895. Died in 1976 Another great Jewish magician!

  • Excellent, TC Silk was a beauty to watch as was the M dream. Thanks for uploading.

  • WOW that was brilliant

  • Hi Guyz - As wontonga said this is a piece of history that is so cool - BTW Jackie was a sweetheart kind of a guy and was willing to explain tricks to u a million times till u got it right - R.I.P. - Blessed Be

  • Al was great! He was an old time Jewish Vaudvillian until he bought the Martinka shop way back in 1939. It was a messy, lovable place. His son Jackie took it over when Al passed away, I think in 1967. And Jackie himself passed on a few years ago in 2003.

  • Muy buenooo... Qu´çe ritmo.. Divertido y mágico a la vez..!! :-)

  • My God... That was cool beyond words!!! I love the side-show barker patter and style. It's really a shame that this style of performing went the way of the dodo. If only the average layperson of today's world could be entertained like this again. Thanks so much for posting this!

  • Gotta love someone who can talk like that and still be understood. I really love that coin routine. Any magician who is good enough to perform The Miser's Dream is EXTREMLY respected in the magic community.

  • That kid will remember that his whole life.

  • Thanks to Rodger Dryer for posting this. Rodger is a very nice guy! Best of luck!!

  • i admire this man so much

  • The best Miser's Dream ever ... Al's Coney Island Fakir biography is well worth reading!

  • I totally agree with you. This is THE best Misers Dream routine around. Fast paced yet hilarious too! Great Stuff Fantasma. Thanks for posting it.

  • Thats my great great uncle...GO AL!

  • Your uncle rules!

  • I like how they both wear their pants up near their chests.

  • hahaha LOL
