Yea, I've been lobbying ATT UVERSE to get the Longhorn Network. Apparently, the Longhorn Network / ESPN are trying to get it put in the cable packages at no additional cost to the subscriber AND trying to get 30 or 40 cents off of each one that receives it. So, that's the hang up. It'll happen, but we may have to pay for it, like on a higher tier.

If you love your alma mater (if you actually GRADUATED from college), and your school can do it, then get your own network. @snakebandit How so you might not have known it but the big 12 and other school knew texas wanted there own network and have been talking to espn for years before it happened, Everyone knew they would make more money then the other schools and yet no one had an issue, they even begged texas to stay last year by everyone publicly agreeing to it but now you all wanna bitch. Yea, I've been lobbying ATT UVERSE to get the Longhorn Network. Apparently, the Longhorn Network / ESPN are trying to get it put in the cable packages at no additional cost to the subscriber AND trying to get 30 or 40 cents off of each one that receives it. So, that's the hang up. It'll happen, but we may have to pay for it, like on a higher tier.

If you love your alma mater (if you actually GRADUATED from college), and your school can do it, then get your own network. As for the people who think Texas gets an unfair football recruiting advantage because of the new network, Texas has been CONSISTENTLY a top recruiting school. Without the network. We are listed as one of the original 8 public Ivy schools in the nation. We can compete with Harvard and other brainy schools but offer the education and college experience at a reasonable price. Where are you guys?
I have no problems with Texas A&M graduates. They are good people. However, when you guys pull something dumb as this, you are known as aggies.

I was privy to aggies not showing up to work after Vince took us to the promise land the night before. A good aggie friend of mine (secretly watching the game wanting USC to win) told me aggies he knew actually started throwing and breaking stuff after Texas won. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Texas is the second most winningest program (college football) second only to Michigan (they've been playing longer). Texas recruits too well to be denied too long.
