  • "Transformation of education: success or failure?" A RESOUNDING FAIL! I worked at an after-school program in 2006 while the PNP was in power, tutoring newly emmigrated Haitian students whose first language was not English. A young Jamaican girl came to the program, and I was proud to have her in my group. It HURT ME TO MY HEART to find that she, who was coming from J.A., was functionally illiterate and could barely read!! You have SOME NERVE twisted sister P!!

  • I don't know what everyone is fussing about... Apparently, the country was doing much better under a PNP adminstration. Life must've been good if the PNP swept the election. Just remember these words by former PM Holness: "I love the poor, but I hate poverty." God Bless Jamaica.

  • Simple minded figurehead of a 'leader' - bereft of a single original thought beyond well rehearsed talking points. Sorry ma'am, you may be personable and 'nice', but I'm not a child looking for a 'mama'

  • LETS TRY FEMALE AND SEE WHAT CAN HAPPEN IN 4 TO 5 YEARS OK

  • @usb899 agreed

  • It is obvious that we rather to suffer with so called intellects we never seek to think outside of the box and try a third party rather than recycling the heartless fakers that comes every election with arguments about newness when the agenda they seek is to get rich and fat like pigs in anthor 8yrs are so. TheY DONT F.;KING CARE ABOUT US BUT THEMSELVES

  • We live in a country where poverty is must in order to have a balance between the haves and the have nots . We have never have a leader to hold the HEART of people as paramount we have selfish egotistical greedy son of a bitches that continues to plunder us that are below a paricular demarcated imaginary boundaries we are mere statistics for census and homicide list. We continued to use the same stereotype goons and baboons who are lairs and pretenders.

  • I love her posture.

  • I truly love this lady...I love her so much!

  • @ryrywilson2015 Love is blind - that's the problem

  • i luv this woman! i dnt know y ppl r hesitating and rejecting of such a humble leader, humility and passion are the qualities i always look for in any leader, i've always preferred a leader that i can relate to not the cocky ones that love to exalt themselves

  • Why does she keep saying Jomaycun? Ouch.

  • @Shaedye Stop being an ass wiping pedant and I bet you know very little about the laws of linguistics. Too often you wanna be smart ppl act as tho you are intellectually diverse when the truth is that you lacking so too much to make a proper linguistic stand.

Learn this,no speaker,President or Prime Minister can ever be perfect linguistically in an oral presentation without being helped with cards or telegraphic projections.. .

Leff di ooman alone an gweh!

  • She keeps repeating her well rehearsed talking point.

  • She an P.J. most honourable, most hounourable fi wah? kmdt -_-

  • This woman is the best suited to run this country. She has heart. People reject her because she is female, dark skinned, and not as educated as most she leads in her party. But I prefer a leader with heart than a much educated heartless leader.

  • @opassley I concur and she is educated...an ass could no way have led so many ministries she did, an ass or uneducated person could no way be Prime Minister. This woman is indeed an intelligent woman and no the tabooed Portia as posited by the so called intelligencia commuinity. When she speaks, you hear genuineness, unlike some of them shower their mouths with "big" words to invite ppl to their shows.

  • The PNP cannot govern Jamaica successfully because the business sector have lost confidence in PNP and its ability to manage

  • PNP needs to press the REFRESH button

  • Portia is a nice woman but she and all the politicians of the 70's have long expired. Retirement is beckoning now.
