You've no idea how hard we all tried. Every day, for seven years, keeping her alive against her will. She would have died long before this without us. You werent there when we fed her, put clothes on her, helped her laugh, cheered her out of depression, took her on holiday, gave her a cat, took her out, paid her bills, warmed her, loved her, nurtured her through illness. You werent there as she thanked us for our love, as she lay dying, and you are never going to grieve for her as much as I do.

Not enough room to tell the whole story! So continued from the comment below. Caraline had a poor childhood and by the time I met her she was very ill. Even so, I and many others managed to take care od her, and prolong her life. We had days out, I got her to sit at a table to eat, and helped her a lot in day to day living. She was very loved by us:Joe, Sara, Albert, Anne... And I still lover her dearly. Miss er every day.

She had 60 friends and supporters as her well attended funeral testified. The documentary didnt not show her happy moments, or her humour, her kindness ad her spirit. And still today these abuse children fall through the cracks of the system. My brother & I would tremble when ever it was suspected of our abuse & would deny it & defend our abusers due to: police cought my parents red handed & didn't take care of it properly and things at home got worse for us. I'm in my 30's & just now I let the cat out the box to my loving , caring boyfriend then to the rest of family. It was a great relief

I think there are times when she sounds so childlike, vulnerable and lost, that DID may be a possibility. Hovever, I think it was mainly due to the severity of her eating disorder. She never got a chance to live, bless her.

It's to such an extent that people will deny themselves food, warmth, comfort and pleasure because they feel they are so useless. This doesn't go for most with an eating disorder, but it is the few who it is very hard to cure. Over a long time, the reasons in their head have become so established that they know they are not wrong. They know they are a failure, all they want is dignified suicide.

It's a fact your brain needs food, when you purge your brain never gets its energy and doesn't function right this could lead to depression and make you tired and make you crazy. Food is vitual. Now if you want to keep a healthy diet eat fruit, Fruit is brain fuel, and i would also suggest something called juicing, which is putting all kinds of different fruits or vegetables and blending them and drinking that for food. Try it, it worked for me
