@amptj bladed.. double bladed.. cause they have blades, but not edges... :D if you are sith inquisitor you will most likely get a double bladed saber before lvl 15.. same goes for the jedi consular. ;)

@franticricky1 There is a huge story line that your character has. Most story content can be compeleted solo, with your companion character. Although you can group up with friends to help you. And the story content will run well into the level cap. You won't be finishing the story line really quick trust me lol. I beta'd the game and got to lvl 25 and was still in chap 1 of 5!

actually the color crystals can affect stats, you can get crystals with like +5 endurance on them or some other stat or even no stats.... But you can get any color crystal with the same stat. So if you wanted +5 endurance you wont be limited to a yellow saber you can get the +5 in green blue and red.

Well it's true that crystals do have stats on them, but it's not color that effects the stats. Crystals of the same "level" will all offer the same stats regardless of color, so you shouldn't be forced into using a color you don't like just because it has stats that best suit your class.

This is silly. Why would they not make use of canon in the Star Wars universe? Anyone can use any color lightsaber crystal for their blade, the Sith use mainly red because they artificially fabricate their crystals by tradition and light-side followers tend to stray from that tradition to display difference...there is no rule that say who can use what. And what happened to power crystals? The blade's characteristics are determined by up to 3 crystals inside the hilt with different properties.

they confirmed at gamescon (I think) that lightsaber color has nothing to do with alignment or faction. Non-Jedi and Non-Sith crystals are simply harder to get if you are on the other side.

I participated in the 1020 beta weekend, played a Jedi with Light Side +1, zero Dark Side rating, and had a red saber. So unless it's changed since then you can have different colours irrespective of your Light/Dark rating.

I just did the beta weekend and my Jedi had zero dark side points and was able to equip and use a red crystal in her saber.

Aparently someone did not see the flashpoint video with the sith warrior and bounty hunter defending the star ship and the warrior equiping a jedis saber in his off hand with either a blue or green blade. Also with the preorder crystal you can freely change the color of your blade and blaster bolts. Colors wont be limited to class or alignment.

The red/blue crystals themselves aren't hard to get, you can make both ones almost right at the start with crafting professions.

They said recently (Pax Prime) that you CAN have any color, though some are harder to get. E.G. A Jedi can have RED but its really hard to get. The BioWare guy said basically if you see that, you know the guy is a bad ass and worked really hard to get it. Could still be that you have to be Dark, but i think anyone is able to get any color regardless of Light or Dark alignment.
