  • Recent article on New York Times states that due to bad economy RAF is flying kites!

  • @vnck25 yehhhh plz no bullshit! yehhh the u.s air force ran out of plane woooooooops!..:)!

  • I know i'm gona get people saying I'm wrong but technally ONLY England and Scotland make up the Uk because they are two united kingdoms hence The United Kingdom. (Wales is not a kingdom)

  • falklands is part of the british empire. its not part of the UK

  • Wrong its British Overseas Territory there is a difference! Go Google it.

  • im terms of equipment your wrong there. im british an i know USA has more powerful air force,, i want to join RAF as chopper pilot

  • @bakedpork the Brits have a aircraft that would beat an F22 in a dog fight the Typhoon, true America has a powerful air force make no mistake my brothers, but accuracy and agility beats power all day. God save the Queen, and god bless America.

  • um not really cos it's not physically apart of the uk. the falkland islands are just another overseas territory with the queen as the head of state.

  • Hence 'United Kingdom' rather than 'Great Britain'

The UK encompasses all countries, islands etc under the Queen's 'control'. If you look at an atlas/map, the Falkland Islands has 'UK' written after it in brackets (as does Ascension Island and Gibralter).

England, Wales and Scotland (and maybe Northern Ireland) make up 'Great Britain', which the Falkland Islands certainly aren't part of

  • it's the other way around England wales and scotland makes up great britain, but england wales, scotland & nth ireland makes up the uk in total. Secondly not all countries and islands are under the queens control, remember she has no power over the majority of them. not even the commonwealth.

  • that's why commonwealth countries don't have 'UK' written after them

  • well duh I know that, but again she has no power

  • it is part of the U.K

  • it costs the U.K government around £3MILLION to train 1 apache helicopter pilot (with no helicopter), and its around £250,000 for one hell-fire missile and the apache can carry 12 of these, think how much the wars we fight in cost its amazing.Apache's can pop up from a tree line 3 miles away from its targets and its on board infra red camera can recognise 256 targets, find the 16 most dangerous targets and destroy them all in just 28 seconds.... i find that amzing

  • ashc241185 - You will have to brush up on your aircraft recognition fellah.............its a jaguar that is landing on th motorway!!! they did it quite often I think (Ex Tornado Groundcrew.. Never worked on Jags)

  • lol, ok take your word for it. wasn't sure because the footage was a bit blurry. The jags have gone out of service now though I believe, so definately won't be flying one of them.

  • where was u based im at marham atm ?

  • Anyone have any idea why that Tornado landed on that motorway, got turned round and took off again? It doesn't look like recent foootage. I'm hoping to join the RAF soon, doing my application at the momment and want to fly fast jets if I get picked. It will be interesting if landing on the M1 is one of the tests! lol.

  • to prove that we could if the runways got taken out mate. Mid to late Eighties in Germany. Best of luck with the joining up bit.

  • I'd like to join the RAF when i'm older....

  • Damm the Brits are lucky when they have the SAS, the Royal Navy and the RAF, No country in their right mind would even consider invading the UK

  • especially when the UK is backed by the US. Hell yeah! Were both unstoppable!!!

  • smguy101-

this is just the british part, dont forget the complete royal military which includes canada, australia,s africa, etc

together one very very powerful family and

    the biggest power in history.

usa on side as an allie just makes it even

    more impressive.

god bless the united kingdom and our commonwealth realms and usa

    united we stand!

  • indeed they wont :p

  • "No country in their right mind would even consider invading the UK"

Argentina did. Though I suppose you could argue that they weren't in their right minds...

  • bunch o pansie argies

  • eh argentina invading the uk what u on about lad?

  • Falklands?

  • lol argentina never invaded the uk mate. if that's what ur getting at

  • How is the Falkland Islands not part of the UK?

  • @Otacrack WRONG,,.. remember the Falkland wars ?? UK only won it because the Harrier Jumpjet... otherwise Argentina would won it 100% even if they got SAS

  • @socomsix19 that complete shit, the UK were superior in air, sea and land... capturing what was it 11,000 of the Argentine troops... why? because the Argentines sent a bunch of under trained kids with no motivation or determination in the face of danger... they were a reasonable force in south america, but faced with an able force such as Britain's they were nothing... so don't come out with sweeping statements that have no backing because what u said is bollix

  • Comment removed

  • @socomsix19 a single SAS soldier could dispatch an entire argentine army with a single bullet. oh and the argentines ALSO had jets and ground vehicles and they still crumbled and fell to the feet of the British. and if they tried to invade again they would just simply lose catastrophically. our army and air force grows ever stronger, more advanced, more capable of ending the invasion in the click of a finger.

  • WOW when did they land harriers on a road!!

  • i heard this song be4. what is it called?

  • idk the song name, but im pretty sure it's by Pink Floyd

  • i found it. its called another brick on the wall

  • i want to join ther RAF soon after my college, vnt wait, i know what ever i do in theer its gana be better then workin in a office

  • Learn to spell first.

  • I was 9 years in the RAF and loved it. If you really want to join get down to your nearest RAF recruit office and talk to them about job options. Qualifcations needed depend on what job you want to do and you can still study for higher qualifications once you are in. Message me if you need to know more etc

  • Well I think the music and the Video work perfectly well together.

This is a cracking Video and I will be checking out your others.

  • I agree with steeluk4 the music is poor but the video itself is very good. 4/5 stars :)

  • I WANT TO BECOME A RAF...

  • what are the benefits from joining the RAF?

  • I didn't mind the music.

  • Not fitting music at all, considering you need lots of education for the RAF.

  • Top tune and I got in with both of my GCSE's
