You should also look up The Sins of Thy Beloved, Leaves' Eyes(Liv Kristine with the a new band after she left Theatre of Tragedy (it is mainly her singing)) and The Agonist got a female singer that switches between growls and clean vocals.

Of the bands I mentioned, The Sins of Thy Beloved is my favorite, they are amazing.

She hurls successive disasters at the band trying to erase them from her sight. but they survive and continue to play. her anger becomes more intense as the disasters become more and more fierce.
