When you think about it, the story for this is sort of terrible, not in a bad way. Your father leaves before you're born and then you get a letter from him after your mom dies. He wants you to get whatever he had from the bank. Then you go out in the freezing cold wilderness to suffer the fate of death that your dad also encountered, but not before being traumatized by a hell-ish series of events. WORST PARENT EVER.
