I'm not sure about Hong Kong but I think you can still pick these up in Japan, but they are rare. If you go on Ebay, there are plenty of brand new and sealed versions of the Japanese one.

Sorry I don't get your question buddy. If you want to change your evolution you have to de-digivolve back to human form and then re-digivolve.

Regarding the D-tectors, do you get Spirits like Agunimon and Lobomon in the newer versions like ver. 2?

Hey, I'm not a 100% sure but I think it's safe to assume yes.

As far as I know, the main difference between that one and mine (apart from colour), is that the version 2 includes fusion evolution and unified spirit evolution. Otherwise, it should have all the original spirits (which is kind of necessary as you can't fusion or unified evolve without the normal human spirit e.g. Agunimon)

Hey, well when you start the Digivice you get the option to pick from, Takuya, Koji, J.P., Tommy or Zoe. Once you pick your character you start the adventure with them and their normal human spirit. So if you pick Takuya, you start of with Agunimon the spirit of Flame.

Hey yeah, all you have to do is hold down the bottom 2 buttons at the same time and the option comes up.

Aw man, that's bad luck. Well I just searched for it on Ebay for a couple of months until one popped up. Trying different key words like: D-Scanner, Digimon Scanner, D-Tector, D-Tector pet, Digimon Virtual Pet.

Then you may find it, I hope you do!
