The Cambodians, they really know how to have fun, don't they? To me the concept of getting the audience involved fall short of news. But to get married with local girl is new and very funny concept. The audience would drop to their knees to the ground if at the end of the ceremony the girl would pretend to go home with the visitor...Would that be so funny?....
Visiting the Cambodian Culture Village one of the highlights of my SE Asia adventure. It was nice to see so many Cambodians taking an interest in their own culture. Although i was initially shocked when they (the performers) asked me take part, I thoroughly enjoyed the ceremony performance. Afterwards people came up and praised me, I replied "Ar kun" (thank you).
