  • Amazing- who'd have thought there'd be any outtakes from this. Yes, I share you desire to have this key scene reinstated. In fact, I will do my best to ensure it is reinstated.

  • 'Punch and Judy' signaled the beginning of the catastrophic decline of Hancock's career. I keep re-watching this movie in the hope it improves. It doesn't. The cast were all first rate and did what they could with a script that doesn't go anywhere and with camera work that lacks imagination. Everything is always beautifully in focus but the whole thing lacks atmosphere and pace. Interesting to see the cuts though.

  • I have'nt seen those edits since I saw it at the "pictures" way back in the early 60', I seem to remember there was a scene about a broken lift thats not on the Video or DVD, not long after seeing this I got a Punch & Judy set of puppets made by the same chap (Wal Kent) who made the ones in the film, they looked just the same.

The bit about glueing the teeth in was interesting as the teeth on the Croc were made in one peice with painted black lines on Wal kent Puppets.

    Thanks for posting.

  • brilliant, thanks for that! have always wanted to see the "flowers stuck up the pig's jacksy" scene. it looks like a whole continuous chunk was cut out of the issued print.

the car being overtaken by the little girl on the tricycle was another nice touch.
