Home Depot, as a company in general, as gone completely into the crapper. It started of course when Bob Nardelli took it over. Then they brought in "Human Resource" slugs to hire people that have no fucking idea what they were doing. None of them actually have an experience actually using the products they are selling like many HD associates used to. They only know what HD has told them to know about the products. Customer service is damn near non-existant now.
Look at those bright new aprons they are wearing. The last of the three HD stores I worked in-(went through 3 store managers in 14 months)-FIRED two associates that went to a customers home on their LUNCH HOUR, and for FREE, meaning they didnt charge her anything to do it, helped a lady unload pavers from her truck-(her husband had just died)- so she could come to the store and use her truck to haul home a new washer and dryer she just bought and have her plumber unload that. Made no sense.
This is what Home Depot is all about. It dosen't matter what kind of paint they used it"s that they made that lady so happy. i am proud to say that I am part of that company.
