  • OH MY GOD you are sickling a lot! be careful with that! it can cause seriour problems :S sickling is when you put all the weight in the pinky toe, but this is an old vid.. actually 3 years old :O so i hope you got BETTER! :)

  • Try And Take Your Time On Each Movement... Next Time You Get Pointe Shoes Mention To The Fitter That Possibly Your Right Foots Arch Is Higher Than Your Left... It Might Just Be Me But It Sure Looks Like It Is, Keep Dancing... The Turnout Is Alot Better. Though Do Focus On The Supporting Leg Though Its Hard Because You Cant Feel The Floor Through The Pointes SO Therefore Really Use Your Core Muscles To Help You. Good Luck, Keep Dancing (:

  • Thank you FuckCreativeDreams for your comments and suggestions. This video is a bit old, I think I´m better now, just din´t have time to upload a new video, heheheh.

    Thanks again.

    Best wishes,

    Dylade

  • once again, your point work is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen, you are truly an amazing dancer!

  • Very nice :) Good for you for restarting ballet :D

  • Thank you very much KaneyKittyBear! I´m glad you like it!

  • Wow...you're pretty good! Nice timing on the music. (It's so bouncy, it makes me all happy inside :]) Keep dancing, your doing great!

  • Oh my goodness Dylade, your musicality is so perfect! Those shoes flatter your feet very well. You are so precise and clean with your movements, I love it!

  • Hi iloveh2o13. Thank you very much for your comment. I think you should talk to your parents because ballet is something very good for your health, mentally and physically. I´m very happy to restart after 9 years of absence. I wish you very good luck, you channel is very good.

    Hugs, and Happy newe year!

  • wow!! you actually got to restart ballet!! since i was 6 years old ive longed to be en pointe, but i quit after 1 1/2 years training. and now i would love to begin again. but im having an awfull lot of trouble convincing my parents that ballet is not a total waste of time, and that you CAN do it as a hobbie and not go pro if you want to. i think after 6-7 years of dancing in my room, and dreaming of become a ballerina, its about time i got to do what ive always wanted to do. (tear in my eye) x

  • wow you're great!! o.o very nice to see you dancing my friend ^-^

  • lovely, i sent u a friend invite.

  • Very nice! I just have one tip. Try to plie more in your landing. It's a little jerky. But very nice other than that! Great job!

  • Hi ballet freak329, thank you very much for the tip. I am always trying to improve.

Thank you for your nice words.

  • No problem! Great job!

  • You are REALLY strong on your pointes! I love it. You have a big arch though, don't you? Or at least it looks like it. That shoe doesn't look like its working your foot properly.

  • Hi peep1131! Thank you for your comment. I have strong arches, and yes, these shoes are not perfect to me. Thanks again for watching!

  • excellent. keep up the great work! :)

  • Thank yoiu very much for your nice words. This video is a little bit old, I got improved. I Need to record another one.

    Love,

    Dylade.

  • OMG! i just noticed that it's the exact same music from my dance classs.... do you have the other songs as well? or can you tell me the name of the songs, or if it's on some sort of disc? much love,, xox

  • The music is from a pianist called Silvina Rouco. She is from Argentina I guess.

Thank you very much for your nice comment. I have the cds but I really don´t know how could I send te music to you, maybe MSN messenger? If you have, tell me your user name, and I will add you to my contacts.

    ove,

    Dylade

  • My pointe-days are over so i won't comment on technique but it looks good, great music and you obviously work hard so keep up the good work and i would love to c more video's! xxx

  • Hi leentjedans, thank you very much for your comment. hugs,

    Dylade

  • not bad at all considered! i would work on ur weight distribution..cause ur feet tend to sickle in a little bit...and i personally roll through the feet as well as teach it..bc i believe it better to stretch and make ur feet do more work..nice job!

  • Thnak you very much for your advices Iluvamedic. I´m working on it, this video is getting a little bit old, I´m better them this now, I guess. Thanks again, I barely can wait to see your videos here.

  • Hi pointmeout! Thank you so much for your good comment and your advice.

    Best Wishes,

    Dylade

  • That's really good for a beginner! Just make sure you don't sickle the back foot in releve fifth.

  • Hi AyeJreem, Thanks you very much for your comment and tips.

    Best wishes,

    Dylade

  • i think your doing very well

    concidering your still "learning"

can only get better by practcing ;)

haha. i need a camrea that has video option that takes sound.

    right off to dp pointe

  • Thanks again Becca. Yes, dear I´m a learner, in everything in my life I need to learn a lot!

    Happy New year!

    Love,

    Dylade

  • your fifth or what ever that was supposed to be in the beginning needs to be tighter, and you need to push way pver your box more , i dont think you are ready for any types of passes like those either. other than that keep up the good work

  • Thanks for your comment dancingllama1, and thanks for watching. I just don´t think it is really polite to say that you think I´m not ready for anything, because you are not my teacher, and you even don´t know me, so next time you give someone one comment, please try be a little bit more nice, ok? Happy Mew Year!

  • jeez, i was just trying to help you out alittle. didnt mean to come across so impolite!

  • You have nice musicality, keep working!

  • try not tot jump onto pointe and try and roll through your feet

  • Some teachers teach the "spring up" method. Some only do roll up, and some do both. So it's not incorrect.

  • Very good! Just remember to keep your knees straight when en pointe, and your whole body pulled up!

    Love from KateXxXxX

  • Quiet down, otherwise, a very nice combo. Keep up the hard work- I got my pointe shoes recently.

  • i think it is really good!

  • Watch your turn out =] uhmmm.

even though you are on your box, make sure you are applying enough pressure through your ankles so you dont fall/ wobble.

  • i know absolutely nothing about ballet, all i know is you look heaps good dancing! keep it up!

  • Its really good but just remember to roll through your arches but otherwise its excellent!!!

  • hey!

it's not bad, the only thing is that you're loosing your turn out sometimes.

how long have you danced? on point shoes

  • Heyyy its me again! lol i can se you've improved HEAPS! lol sorry i didn't repkly for a million and 2 years! ool, anyhoo, it's great 2 c ur going slowly... lol, VERY GOOD!

  • hee i like the music a lot XD well done dylade!

  • wow wut an improvment!!! your feet look so good! you should work on your turnout it might help with you balence and also the ancels seem a little bit wobbly still , but really good work!

  • Good job!!

  • that was great! for 9 years interuption and 2 months of classes! but you do need to tighten your tsu-tsus! and turn out when boureing! <3

  • great!! u have great videos...keep it up

  • aw thanks for telling me about this video!

it was great also! i love every ballet step you did!!

  • Sorry if that didnt make cens! And try to roll throu your feet when you land it will help minamize the thumping sound. And also try to keep your weight over your big toe a little more. But that was Wonderful! Verry good! :D

  • Heyy! mweehee!i commented on a nother one of your vidios and let me congradulate you you have improved!! Yah you!!! Umm somthing to think about is when your going up on pointe try to...ummm...dnot "jump" up try to feel like your a milk shake and your really thik and your being "sucked" up.

  • mwee thats one cute video!!

  • sqeeeeze your legs together up in fifth

  • Hi

I think you have beautifully archy feet.

    Paul

  • good

  • Dont hop onto pointe as much, and try to stay turned out from the hip when you are up on pointe, andkeep your weight centered in your foot and ankle. But I hope you enjoy taking ballet, even through all the blood tears and sweat ^_^

    --Isabelle

  • close ur susu tighter!

  • hey! u have wonderfull feet and arches. ur shoes r nicely broken in but ankle strenmghtening is needed! xx

  • v. nice dylade!! u do look quite shakey, but ur legs have a very nice muscle line! keep up the terrific wurk <333 xx

  • Where can I get some practice music like that? It's brilliant :D Your shoes are pretty

  • vry gd and beautiful!! xxx

  • beautiful, dylade..=) like it lots...i like the music too!haha good choice of music =) but do take note of those tight ribbons lol...they look pretty tight to me..

  • you have lovely arches :]

  • your getting much better! :)

some advice: try rolling up onto pointe, do not jump up

    good luck!

  • ... Lastly, pull your fifth in nice and tight when you come to sous-sous. Your pas de bourrees through retire are beautiful and you're getting right ontop of them which makes it look like you could just balance ontop of them forever! Keep up the good work!

  • Nice improvement! Keep using that plie to make your transitions seamless. Make sure that you are pressing into the front of your left foot - don't sickle - when you're doing your bourrees, and when you do that retire out of them make sure you don't hinge forward (pull right up out of the top of your leg). Also, release your knees a little bit more through your bourrees which will give you a more fluid motion. ...

  • Nice job.

    My Constructive Critique:

Work on turnout and the same thing ballerina612 said.

  • You are so good!!! I wish I can dance in pointe shoes already!!!

  • Much better! :)

  • I'm happy you're happy about restarting! and good luck! but first a few tips :) roll through your shoe! you're popping up a lot onto pointe and that can injure your toes, which you don't want.also, you'e not all of the way over, so just work those arches!:D
