  • another great tutorial!

  • Very well done thank you very much

  • Hi Mama Shan,

Your voice is too good. And your explanation in tutorial is too good. Nice Tutorial.

    Thanks for such kind information.

  • Hi Mama Shan:

You are simply the best! Sounds like a song... Anyway, I love your videos and the way you teach. I was wondering if you can do a video on getting HDR results on one photo? I have been seeing alot of this lately and would love to see what you can do with this.

I subscribed to your videos but just came to check and noticed you have ones I haven't seen. Don't know why I haven't been contacted about the newer ones...

    Thanks for all your wisdom!

    Irene

  • Thanks for sharing it! :]

  • This is such an amazing tutorial. I never knew how to do this and it looks so natural. Mama Shan, you have such a great talent (both creative and teaching). Thanks so much!

    Goes to my favourites! 5*****

  • I never knew how to re-colour white, this helped so much! You can use this technique on anything, not just clothing, right? I was thinking of doing something like this for hair. :]

  • Yes you can try it on anything!

  • muy bueno el tutorial, gracias Mama's.

    Tienes tutoriales en español?

    very good tutorial, thanks Mama's.

    You have tutorials in Spanish?

  • THANX!!!

  • I love ur videos!! They help me sooo much! Thanx MAMA!!! But where do u get this pictures?? And where did u learn this photoshop THINGS...

  • I took this one of one of my daughters and my son-in-law and you can get it by clicking the link in the right panel More info area. Other pictures are from our Msdigphotography site or from our dear friend KristaLeePhotography.

  • Also I learn by doing! And I've been teaching this stuff since Photoshop 4 (about 10 years now). If I didn't teach and repeat this stuff so often, I probably wouldn't know it as well! grin!

  • Photoshop mamma you need to get a mac, windows is horrible :D Great tutorial.

  • I do have a couple of Macs but Camtasia doesn't work on a Mac. Also I prefer the backboard that Photoshop interface has on a PC 100x more. I hate always having the program disappear on a Mac whenever you click outside the window. I've used both platforms for 10+ years and both have their good and bad points.

  • Yes! that's the main reason i don't like macs.. hehe.. but great video as always :D

  • Screenflow is a great application for screen recording (for mac) and you can maximize the screen, like in windows, by going into Photoshop and clicking view > screen mode > maximized screen mode. Which make it like windows (with the backboard)

  • Sorry but the maximized screen mode doesn't make it like the backboard in Windows, it doesn't encompass the palettes nor let you have multiple documents with their title bars viewable at the same time. I have both Windows and Mac with Photoshop

  • But thanks for the tip on Screenflow, I'll have to check them out to see if they render embeded flash vids. I used to use SnapzPro for Mac but they don't do flash and the .mov files are way too large in file size and take way longer to render than what I'm used to in CamtasiaStudio 5.

  • excellent video - please keep up the great work

  • I like your videos to, it helps that your on windows. It gets more complicated when I am trying to learn something when someone is teaching on mac.

  • I actually learn from your tutorials! Now I've got to experiment with the "groups". I've never used them before but your explanation was great. Thanks again

  • Hee hee! You actually sound surprised that you learn from them! That's good to hear because that is the objective. I just hope to teach more "concept" as oppossed to recipe's so folks gain a logical understanding. Photoshop is set up very logically, I think. I use it like I do cooking...having a basic understanding allows me to cook creatively without recipes....however baking ususually requires one.

  • That was great once again, your he best thank for the videos.

  • great explanation, thank you for your time in doing this, keep up :D

  • Just apply the rough selection to the Mask to get you started. Then edit the mask with brushes, white reveals and black conceals. I provided the selection with this image so all you have to do is load it from the channel as shown in this vid.

  • For the select thing, when you select most of the times it selects something more from the object you selected... How can we fic it?!? For example if you're gonna select the select the dress it may be selected and a little bit of background! So, how can we fix that?!?
