My dad served on this while it was in dry dock in Norfolk Virginia. He was a senior chief petty officer. He retired after 24 years in 2001. This type of stuff makes me wanna join even sooner!
The Ike is awesome. Everyone gets their own stateroom with a plasma HDTV and an XBox 360. The food court has a Dominos and a Five Guys too. Join the Navy!
