@funkateerkitty - everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I think it takes a bit of sophistication to like Sade. Her lyrics are genuine and sometimes it's about despair. And it's ok because that's a part of life. Her songs are just so poetic and those despair, sadness, break-ups that she sings about also transcends into hope and new beginnings. I love Sade's music simply because it makes me feel... Her voice, lyrics, and melody it's just emotionally stunning and stirring.
