  • This song is utterly amazing. \been there, done that.....

  • I remember the first time I ever heard this song. It was back in the eighties, and I asked the girl I was with who was singing it. When she told me Randy Travis, I couldn't believe that it was his original song-- it sounded so much like the honky tonk music I'd grown up with back in the early sixties. I thought it had to be one of Hag's songs or maybe Ray Price's. She finally convinced me, and I knew Randy had just acquired another lifelong fan. We need some more of this, Randy!

  • yeah

  • yeah

  • yeah

  • I listen to all kinds of music, country , ganster rap , spanish, but county music is my favorite, It reminds me of my husband. And were not even together.

  • For Ever More A Great Song By One Of The Best Randy Travis....

  • I'm currently serving overseas and just listening to artist like Randy (just so happens to be my fav artist) brings me back home.. Thanks for sharing.

  • this song is sooooooo true if you listen to what he says the song is about a cheating husband most ppl did nt know that n e wats

  • Wow How true this song became for Him!! Never knew It would actually happen to him!

  • My first favorite country song...its been a great ride ever since!!

  • love him!

  • I truly love this song! I saw him in concert in Augusta, GA. and on the big screen you could see his very blue eyes and he was so passionate in his singing. Still love you, Randy!

  • i saw Randy Travis live in St.John's Newfoundland and he was amazing.

  • lets go back to the melmax john dimmick so so many years ago but i loved you so much!!!!

  • this song came about because he was pissed that he didnt take his ring off.

  • @tonybabes87 He didn't write it, he just sings it. I heard he's gay anyway.....

  • @Mr572u your a dumbass. Randy aint gay buddy! He was married to his manager Lib. They kept their marriage hidden so that it wouldnt trouble his carrer when he first signed with warner bros. Do some research before you go talkin bad about a great country artist.

  • @Mr572u randys gay? thats the first time i heard that one. shit, it just doesnt hold my attention as much to think hes singing about a dude haha.

  • @Mr572u you sir have no clue

  • Great message of rejecting infidelity in marriage.

  • i love his voice

  • i love this song and his voice just so good

  • Im native american and i like fuking to this song.

  • good song.... sad,

  • I loved this song and when I was with the one (x) I told this was my song to her. She made a mistake and lost me forever. But tells me she crys everytime she hears this song.

  • I'm a huge Possum fan but I agree that Randy's version is better.

  • I listen to country from time to time but this song just makes me play this song as loud as i can and as much as I can! Love it!!!! And I love him!

  • If there is a definition of pure country music, Randy Travis is it.

  • @gudnaybor I agree 100%. Along with Alan Jackson and George Strait. The only ones left that sing PURE country.

  • @gudnaybor roge rthat! ;)

  • @gudnaybor Totally Agree

  • @gudnaybor Amen!

  • @gudnaybor It touches the soul, doesn't it!

  • this man could sing " happy birthday" and it would be a #1 hit

  • Yeah, I agree with those say this is a better version of this song.

  • @outbackredd I won't.. interrogate you with anything.. I'll simply call you an ignorant hick, who still lives off what his "diddy" told him when he was such a lovely, young moron!

  • I dislike how some of you speak of race.. Makes me sick to my stomach.

I mean, it's 2010.. Are we still relying on the color of one's skin to make decisions or give credence to an opinion?

  • Simply perfection! I forgot how incredible Randy's voice and stage presence is indeed. This is American music at its finest hour.

  • awesome song

  • Now this is what COUNTRY is supposed sound like! Let'd bring back the good stuff!

    Have a blessed weekend,

    Jeff

  • :) I love Randy Travis <3

  • The best there is. He is a great human being and the best singer to come around in a long time.

  • I may or may not have been at this show. It is likely the same tour at least. What year was this video filmed?

  • Man this is country, todays stuff just ain't. I sure do miss the old true sound. George, Conway,Charlie.and there's a tear in my beer, Hank..

  • This is my favorite Randy Travis song. In my opinion he was the last genuine country singer to make it big. There are some good singers since him but they don't do the right kind of music for me to even care.He has the type of voice that when he starts to sing a song, you know who it is. A unique voice indeed.

  • one of his best,as he is 1 of the all-time great's in country!

  • I love Randy no matter what he sing's...he is a great artist!

  • you're one of the greatest artist Ive known Randy .... next to Hag

  • Kinda sad sounding but it's good. He's got a good voice.

  • Amazing voice

  • Just wonderful Travis. Just wonderful.

  • This song and singer is what all country music should sound like today.

  • how can you not love country with talented singers like this

  • Randy's message to the wannabes in today pop/country crowd, "That's how you do it son"

  • @gudnaybor

    (l.o.l.) That's what I'm talking about:)

  • its crazy but this song, about cheating, calms me down... if im in a mood i listen to this song and im a totally different person.. lol imagine that lol

  • I love Randy's voice. He's one of the greats. I do notice that he's not wearing his own "golden band" here. I think this song is one of the best ever written in country music. The band backing him up is terrific. Whenever I hear a piano, along with all the other instruments, I know it's going to be a great sound. Other artists have recorded this one, also, and sound fine but Randy is the leader. Thanks a million for posting this winner. - Paula

  • Randy's also a great actor!

  • @mina1066 Damn straight!!

  • way to go Mr. Travis damn way to , thanks :)

  • Randy is one of the quiet legends of country music, I put him up there with Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard and the great George Jones. My very religious Grandma used to love Randy before she sadly passed away.

  • Brings back the memories, very nice song and Voice Randy !!!

  • A great song from a great singer!

  • One of the many favourite songs my parents loved to listen to..he's just deadly!

  • If there ever is a song, i would wist to just go on forever.. this would be the one... with all the other reasons, that were not spoken... i can listen to this song over and over... =)

  • Played this to my late parents when alive they loved it

  • love lead singers who just stand there holding a guitar and not playing it.

  • @thejonhendricks.. he's a great guitarist dude, he just doesnt play it for this song.

  • He's got an incredible voice...

  • One of my favourites from Randy. Thanks so much for uploading this :)

  • Commenting on this video footage once again, it strikes me how easily Randy delivers his "message" without any effort but with total talent; I've listened to most of his songs and each one in my opinion, is a "hit"...

Randy Travis makes the listener believe in any message he is delivering and that is truly a gift... Thanks for posting this footage..."D"

  • While country music is not traditionally a favorite of mine, Randy takes No. 1 spot in my "books" for talent, expression and quality of vocals. When I watch this video I find that Randy's eyes are the most expressive of many a singer I have observed... This song holds many a memory for me and I do, really do love this unforgettable song... "D"

  • @debbrad51 debra your the best..how about the words..

  • @debbrad51

while being quite cold in nature...you did manage to get a very large point across. Indeed, Randy is one of the few examples of a singer who is passionate for what he is singing. His music is his outlet. The tortured soul, if you will. That is always what makes good music.

  • @debbrad51 so who gives a fuck? you start your sentience by talking shit about country music go back to your useless rap and r&b a country by can survive without people like you.

  • Randy is one of the greates singers I've ever encountered!!! "D"

  • forever amazing

  • His lyrics are so profound.

  • thanks for sharing.

  • My late mother used to smile when I played and sang it on guitar. Dad liked it too as we jammed before he passed away

  • @gitsegukladude my mom loves it 2

  • He'll always be my favourite country singer ever. Great crystal clear voice.

  • oh Randy you are the best.

  • I grew up on Randy Travis and it and he will always be one of the greatest country singer/song writers in history

  • country music right there.

  • I feel he is way underappreciated as a muscian. I grew up listening to Randy Travis and many more. I still love his music. Randy rocks
