I don't think I need a branding. Unless I want to start selling myself. But then I would need a pimp. So I think I will stick to the name I was given. These videos are funny. Especially the mixing of clips. Good stuff
I'm not sure which is more funny - Carlos' rendition or the real life version of what some of these folks pass off as "branding" - personal or not, branding must be real. We are who we are - like it or not ;-)
I like the one Saturn had, "You will pay our price; we will not negotiate," or I think for me, I might go with "Water resistant is not water proof; this is still your fault." Hmm. Maybe ... oh, the best one is probably "Repeat." Yeah, that's my personal brand, if I can remember.
very funny! ur officially on the curriculum in my post graduate class of social media at humber college in Toronto where dev of personal brand makes up almost 50% of the grade.
clear message ... don't go huckster with "personal brand"
better - Body Shops Against Animal Testing or Googles motto Dont be Evil that perhaps rail against an entrenched establishments worldview, but are blatant attempts to conform to consumer sensibilities about what ideas are worth passing on to others
uniquely hilarious and engaging...I love the mix of business and humor - you did a five-star job of it! thanks for the entertainment and keep up the good work!
Hilarious! Thank you for illuminating how silly it is to oversimpify the concept of personal branding and/or how transparent it is when someone tries to make it sound more technical than it is. Those who abhor self-promotion, will love this video.
I hope to be a schmuck some day, right now the most I can hope for is schmekel but there's still time... Hey, can you get me a couple of free tickets to your show? See, I'm getting closer to schmuckdom everyday.
Personal Brands, that's brilliant! I didn't even have to think about it I knew mine right off the bat, but it was already taken by Dennis Leary "I'm an asshole". Guess I will have to work harder to differentiate myself from all the other assholes. I am hesitant to go with "I'm an asshole too". I want mine to be unique, fresh, exciting, I want to immediately sell myself to whomever I meet! I'll get back to ya on this one.
I'm glad to hear you are working on your Personal Brand, Saromatae. Yes, it may take some work for you to differentiate yourself, but as you saw in the film, I slogged away for weeks before I revealed my True Self. Keep at it, and good luck.
See there, asshole is very popular. There are too many assholes. It's a privilege to meet the original Tomster. Maybe I can go with "I'm a Schmoe" instead. Although that kind of denotes commonality as in "Joe Schmoe".
Over in the related vieos kristidaeda asks in her video "Personal Brand: 5 Q's for Your Personal Brand"
Question 1 is "What makes you tick?"
That made me think I should go with "I'm a time bomb". But that comes with too many negative connotations doesn't it?
Are you stupid?

Not a schlamazel? Ok... and, of course, the basic message of Buddhism is that there's no you. Is that like the Uncola positioning?
Brilliant video.

You are only a follower of schmuckism, Carlito! Guess you have to go back to rewrite the line. We don't let you off the hook so easily... :-)
