Flea DID study music and you could tell. I really love the piano on the new album and also the bass lines. But in a way the guitar parts remind of their old work :) Don't give up on the piano! Music is very beautiful, and a nice way to express yourself! Be Sure to upload a video :D

@k0stil One hot minute is their worst album in their entire career, even though it was good... it was horrible compared to the rest. I have yet to listen to the new album, I am turned off by the absence of Frusciante but I will go see their show tonight.
What I'm saying is I've heard every album extensively and the ones without John don't even compare to the ones with John. So I can understand someone saying the Chilis without John aren't the Chilis.
I agree, He has so much soul in his playing...it takes a lot to be able to feel the music. and if you've ever seen their live shows, he feels the music like nobodies business. I fell in love with the peppers when I heard "Can't stop" for the first time, that was in 2005 or 6, and a few months later Stadium Arcadium went out - And I'd describe it still today, now that I've listend to all the albums they made, as their very best work. My opinion: what the peppers made the band, that they are still today, was Hillel's death - John joined the band and step for step their music lost the funk. Of course there are some funky pieces...

Next tome you listen to it, have in mind this song is about the suicide of Anthony's girlfriend, notice the variations from slow ballad parts of the loss and the more aggressive parts of the song about the violence of suicide. :) i like this song hope you will too :)
Why was this song cut? Of all the songs that made it as B-Sides, this one would fit most on Stadium Arcadium. But I'm still glad it was released in some form, as its such a chilled, yet upbeat song!

@sirstellwagsexy @sirstellwagsexy sorry man i don't agree. this song is very beautiful. it presents a sweet side of the peppers. the lyrics are really touching and the music complements them perfectly. Next tome you listen to it, have in mind this song is about the suicide of Anthony's girlfriend, notice the variations from slow ballad parts of the loss and the more aggressive parts of the song about the violence of suicide. :) i like this song hope you will too :)

Why was this song cut? Of all the songs that made it as B-Sides, this one would fit most on Stadium Arcadium. But I'm still glad it was released in some form, as its such a chilled, yet upbeat song!

@Metallicat8888 Hmm... yeah Hump De Bump does seem to divide people, you either love it or you hate it. I wasn't a fan of Warlocks, So Much I or C'mon Girl, so I'd cut one of them. Better yet, it should have been the 29th song (unless it was that restricted for disc space).

Warlocks is definitely one of the weaker tracks, but I still like it.
I don't think it would've been restricted for space, as discs can hold up to 80 minutes of music.

You know what really is great? Respecting all sentient beings - dogs, monkeys, zebras, giraffes, humans, cats, squirrels, and all the others alike.
There is no need for killing any of them for food and if Mr. Anthony Kiedis prefers eating fruits and vegetables rather than killed animals, than - with all due respect - this is perfectly understandable...

@blodquatsch Yes, you're right, but do you really want to put plants on the same level as animals (remember that you are one as well)? What about our ability to feel joy, pain and other emotions for example? Plants do not have a central nervous system as we do.
By the way, before farm animals are slaughtered, they are fattened. With plants. A lot of them. More than you could ever eat as a vegan. So, you really just kill more of both, animals and plants.
