Removing the baffle will increase top end power IF the fuel injection is re-mapped to suit. Taking the db-killer out allows less resistance to airflow so the engine breathes better, give it more fuel too and it will make more power. Will the people who dont have a clue stop posting shite.

That not a fuel injected bike. Look like a 1994-1999 zx7 (the tail section looks like one I own a 91). All the zx7's even the 2003 is carb. So you would have to get a stage one or stage 2 jet kit or just get the carbs tuned again to make the fuel and air flow more even.

removing that will give it a beefy sound, but it loses back pressure and causes power loss on low end but might give it higher end power. but it does cause loss of power at the take off.

No thats wrong. You just change the sound, by removing the Db-Killer. The exhaust has nothing to do with the power of the bike. If you change the manifold, the power will change.

its the baffle, it muffles the noise a little more, but when removed like that it can cause power loss. he probably did something else to make up the loss of power though.
