I remember watching this at Nick at Night when I was younger, and even THEN I thought how weird the intro looked (mainly when their going down the waterfall and their back is to us).

Wesley Eure has said in an interview that this was the show, magazines, and his agents way of trying to bill him as a teen idol. He said he looks back at it now and cringes.

Oh he enjoyed making the show, it was just the fact that everyone was trying to bill him as "Wesley" that he said made him cringe, the whole teen idol spin that the business was trying to create around him. He has said he has nothing but fun thoughts about Land of the Lost.

I like the T Rex turning towards the camera and roaring, if I remember rightly as a kid it was pretty scary looking - cheesy but in it's own way scary if you're a kid.

@schizoidboy I bought the complete series dvd set with all 3 seasons. My son runs away when the T-Rex turns around and roars, lol.
