  • Amazing finish to an even more amazing show...if only I had been there

  • i would give my man hood to go back in time to this concert

  • For the love of God and all that's sacred, PLEASE PUT THIS LIVE PERFORMANCE ON DVD/BLU-RAY!!!!!!

  • Am I the only one who really wants to have sex with Roger Waters?

  • @XabbagatorX yes

  • you can tell roger's relationship with the band that year was not too good by the fact that he's walking far away from the other band members at 3:35.

  • Never found that much meaning in any other song. Those simple lyrics just say it all...

  • sounds more like banzaï

  • Roger Waters is a genius.

  • All alone, or in two's,

The ones who really love you

Walk up and down outside the wall.

    Some hand in hand

And some gathered together in bands.

    The bleeding hearts and artists

    Make their stand.

And when they've given you their all

Some stagger and fall, after all it's not easy

Banging your heart against some mad bugger's wall.

  • 4:20 money!!!

  • The Bleeding Hearts and the Artists...make their stand...

  • I went to this show and it was the best concert I have ever seen from when the plane crashed into the wall and the wall being rebuilt and to the end when the wall comes down and they play outside the wall. I have never seen a better show.

  • May 12, 2011... The best moment in history seeing these guys perform this song once again as the Floyd, and the bleeding hearts band.. Incredible!!!

  • The most meaningful band of all time. So metaphorical!

  • Support the artists! Have a good time!

  • Haha, I was expecting the "isn't this where we-" part, too. I feel like I just watched a movie, or read book. Now to stare into space and ponder over it.

  • watched the whole concert.. and must I say WOW

Now I need to get the CD and anticipate on a DVD..

  • for some reason i was expecting some one to say "Isn't this where.." at the end there.. don't know why...

  • Four people need to have clarinets shoved up their asses.

  • well...once they invent time traveling, I know the first place I'm going...

  • Am going with u no doubt

  • @manifestgtr

Right on man I will be there to.

  • lol @ "MONEY!" - I remember Gilmour in some interview said that that song (probably the whole album really) changed how the audience behaved; from well mannered and more or less silent audience (during the actual songs anyway), to people "shouting 'Money!' from beginning to f...ing end!"

  • Holy shit.. and I had wanted to switch instruments for next marching season. No, I have never been more proud to play the clarinet.

  • Where did this come from? is it available in vid or dvd?

  • @bmalloy1 You can buy it on dvd; Titled; Is There Anybody Out There? The Wall Live

  • @aehedfuq I have the CD but realized that these are bootlegs. So they did release the actual show on dvd? excellent I wish I could have seen it but saw rodgers doing it in Pittsburgh. Was a once in a lifetime experience.

  • You can buy it on dvd... Titled; Is There Anybody Out There? The Wall Live 80-81

  • INMENSO, SORPRENDENTE, INIGUALABLE, MAJESTUOSO ¿PUES QUE ESPERABAN? ES PINK FLOYD

  • poor kids like me watch the concert on youtbe

  • grandes los pink floyd

  • wonderful...thanks alot for sharing..still the best

  • I'm out of the wall thanks to PF

  • Saw the show in September--- this song had me in tears. :-)

  • lol roger is wearing a BMW shirt

  • 4 people are still inside the wall....

  • Whoever doesn't like this is a big idiot.

  • Roger's his usual hot self

  • If I was the crazy guy at the end, I would have screamed BRAIN DAMAGE !!!...

  • @lauans010203 No no no... ECHOES!!

  • Comment removed

  • 2:07 LOL

Pink Floyd: The GREATEST band which ever walked on Earth

  • I saw this live the other day. This song made me cry.

  • @multicuntmuffin I'm going in 28 days!!!! Can't.Freakin.Wait!!!!!

  • david gilmour playin mandolin!! nice

  • One of the few songs - maybe the only one on the album I don't really like--but this is marvelous. Loved how Roger leads them like the Pied Piper...And you have to love the way Waters is dressed in a BMW T-shirt, like he just came from mowing his lawn...I noticed when I saw him in 2006 the concert attire had significantly been upgraded..

  • @jcalli66 I totaly agree with you,the album version i don't think i listened it more than 2 times like ever, but this one is really good and a bit catchy actually :)

  • Wish I could have been there... Fucking spectacular.

  • 4 of you missed the like button :(

  • MONEY!!!!!!!!! (lots of recreational drugs and alchohol were used in the process)

  • Really weird to have Rick walking DIRECTLY behind Roger when technically he was fired by that guy. AWKWARD!!!

  • Roger playing clarinet...me being a clarinet player, that just makes this video all the more awesome.

  • @roe1203 yea man I know what you mean! I'm 16 and I've never seen them all live. But I am going to see Roger waters do the wall this October!! Can't wait!!! But it would be nice if they'd have just one reunion tour...

  • Why are the Beatles to Pink Floyd

  • The video and the audio isn't in sync. I noticed with Gilmores guitar solo during comfortably numb the video was ahead of the audio. Its just crap quality at fault here.

  • @darkskidz I think the audio is from another source

  • @darkskidz Yeah, I think the video is from one Earl's Court performance while the audio is from the updated 'Is There Anybody Out There' CD which may also be from a different Earl's Court performance. That's just what I think is going on. I may nowhere near being correct, though.

  • @TheRockNRollFan Yah're right.

    You're not nowhere being correct!

  • @HateIronMaiden Why, thank you, sir.

  • @darkskidz Yeah, that's because the video is taken from a single night at Earl's Court in 1980. The audio is from the live album Is There Anybody Out There. The audio wasn't in great shape for the actual video, so that's why we have the audio here.

  • I think this last song is being lip-synced.

  • @mcsew2k Roger Waters, nor any Pink Floyd member would ever lip synch. Period!

  • @jgmaddog well there is a particular show i think in the bbc, they are playing apples and oranges and they're lip synching, search for it.....peace

  • Outside the Wall (Waters) 1:42 All alone, or in two's, The ones who really love you Walk up and down outside the wall. Some hand in hand And some gathered together in bands. The bleeding hearts and artists Make their stand. And when they've given you their all Some stagger and fall, after all it's not easy Banging your heart against some mad bugger's wall. "Isn't this where...."
  • @roe1203 Me Too.

  • it could not be a better way to end The Wall. Just Perfect. Awesome.

  • great, great, great song, i dont know what this fucking song have, becouse it makes me feel

sad but later i feel better.....

  • this has got to be the best concert ever. I can't wait to see Roger recreate it for 2010. I didn't think this would happen. I just wish Gilmour and Mason would get on board. Got the feeling that Mason might not oppose the idea. Gilmour's different altogether though.

  • the album ends with the words "is this where" and starts with "we came in", someone noted that? you can repeat with cd1 to get "Is this where we came in?"

  • @dud0r haha yeah i know!I thought it was something they had forgotten to edit out on the cs version or something like that, but it's on the lp version to!

  • @dud0r Yeah, it was done on purpose by Roger. =)

  • Thank you for posting this concert. I appreciate all the effort you put into posting it. Can it be bought somewhere, like an official copy? I'd love to see it on a good quality recording on my TV! Until then, I will enjoy it on my laptop! Thank you!

  • was there........................AWESOME!!!

  • you were there?

  • After all its not easy

  • freakn great..............

  • God I love this version so much

  • I just watched from beginning to end. Absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for posting this. You rock Domokon!

  • and also.... i was living in NJ at the time of the Wall tour...

nassau coliseum was like 45 min from me....

    But....alas.....

    I was only 8 in 1980....

    too young!

    enjoy!

  • I too was only 8 when the Wall was performed, saw the Australian Pink Floyd Show do the wall from start to finish last year, blew my socks off cause it was that good!

  • @Kapricorn1 I saw them do it too, it was truly amazing, if you are a floyd fan, you must see them

  • LOOK!

Nick Mason is rocking the guitar!

    Great song!

  • nice BMW shirt

  • 1:51 Thats a REAL Entourage

  • It depresses me to know I'll never see anything this amazing because I wouldn't be born for about another 10 years :/

Oh what I'd give to have seen Floyd live..

  • Roger is thinking of doing the Wall tour again in 2010-2011

  • :O!

holy..thanks for the news man. That's something I can't miss!

  • I know! I almost had a heart attack when I found out.

  • hmm, is the order of this playlist different now?

  • I watched all of your videos about The Wall Live... and I can only say... Amazing! Pink Floyd rule!

    Thanks a lot for sharing!

  • rofl some guy yelled MONEY at the end

  • @PinkFloydam Yes and then Roger Waters spitted on him. :P

  • @PinkFloydam OMG i heard it!! :D

  • @PinkFloydam I bet hes proud of himself, that he gets to hear himself yell it.

  • roger waters a poet a very wise man

  • Roger is a BMW fan

  • Roger playing clarinet, Nick playing guitar, Rick playing accordion... I never though I'd see that lol

  • @Canaveral305 agree!

  • TheElusiveBirdMan asked what NIN was, I replied, I wasn't saying anything else.

  • wasn't this where we came in?

  • 20 years since The Wall has been knocked down!

  • 30 years (30 Nov 1979 - 2009) of the album!!! ONLY 18 DAYS...

  • Now it has been 30 years of the album :)

  • this month it was 20 years ago in berlin.

  • Nine Inch Nails

  • The mad bugger's wall he bangs his heart against at the end is yours....and mine.

  • man roger is probably annoyed by the band following him and completing the sentences before he does

  • thats how it was written duhhhh

  • it s a surrogate band.

  • After 29 years this is still unbeatable....NIN is the only thing that comes close for me.

  • what is NIN?

  • buena esa.... Domokon! Un abrazo!

  • At least they let Rick walk along with them at the end.

  • yeah Roger was a wanker to Rick, nice to see snowy white there too :O))

    RIP Rick

  • But you know what's funny? Even though Rick had been kicked out of the band at this point, he actually got paid for the Wall projects before Dave, Roger or Nick. For The Wall concerts, Rick was effectively a salaried backup musician. That means that he was part of the expenses that had to be paid off for doing the album, the concerts, and the movie before the other saw any royalties. So he saw money from The Wall before the people who were still officially band members!

  • Are they cheering at the beggining because the wall has finally been torn down

  • maby beacuse it was one hell of a concert?:P

  • I would say yes. Beacause that is the most amazing moment in the album. And, to see it happen before their eyes must have been...riveting.

  • DUED BEST CONCERT EVER!

  • i meant waters sorry

  • Thank you very much, indeed, dear Domokon!

  • greatest concert ever

  • your dumb..

  • he is in it..all of them are except syd.

  • AHAHAHAHA

  • Listen to "The Final Cut" (1983) Roger tells you what happened behind the wall if you listen carefully.

  • Roger Waters says himself he's not sure how it ends. I think the act of tearing down the wall is the important bit.. If you don't you're screwed and will live your whole life in fear. and that's no way to live.

  • "And when they've given you their all

Some stagger and fall, after all it's not easy

Banging your heart against some mad bugger's wall"

this is pretty discouraging. i know what it's like to be on the inside...

  • So let them in.

  • Nobody knows.. his story is still being continued.

  • they took him down before it collapsed and tucked it away:P

why have it up there to block the images of "the trial"/fall into the audience when it all fell down?

  • PINK FLOYD...EVERGREEN !!!! MAGIC

  • As a clarinet player, I never knew I would see the great Roger Waters playing my very own instrument. To have seen this performance live in person, would have been doubtlessly life changing. Pink Floyd has created some of the greatest musical masterpieces of all time. Even via youtube this was a sight to see. Thanks for the upload Domokon!

  • Roger Waters is great, no doubt. But something tells me that clarinet may have been playback...

  • Man.. If I could've seen this, I'd probably cry, it would be that amazing.

  • i like roger's BMW shirt.

  • WOW!!

    I HAVE THE NY VIDEO

    I MUST GET EARLS COURT

keep in mind, the backstage trailers faced OUTSIDE, so the band members had to walk around, instead of in the middle...

  • absolutely victory :)

  • Holy shit! Roger on clarinet, Nick on guitar, Richard on accordion and David on mandolin! This is amazing!

  • a mixmatched band, but very cool.

  • Flawless... Pink Floyd are absolutely brilliant live

  • Money! Pum ta da dum pa dam pam daaam

  • I like "Brain Damage/Eclipse" more than "Money" or "Time". So ronery ;-)

  • "Time" is great, but you're right - "BrainDamage/Eclipse" outshine "Money" by a longshot.

  • yeah!

  • 4:21 - "MONEY!" LOL!

  • I know! and that was one of the things Waters hated the most! he hated when fans only wanted to hear money!

  • if anybody does a list of the best live shows of all time the wall will be in that list.

  • PINK FLOYD RULES \,,/

  • great band

    one of the best

  • PINK FLOYD FOREVER

    THE BEST OF THE BEST

  • Today would have been my son's 30th birthday. He requested this song be played at his funeral. He died of an overdose. We played the song. It's way too true.

  • Sorry to hear that. This song is quite appropriate for a funeral though - especially the movie version - it is like a profound hymn and not just rock and roll.

  • I am truely sorry. I lost my 24 Yr old daughter last year also from an overdose my thoughts are with you, right here if you need to talk Love and care, Val

  • I love this, perfect ending to a great album. It's basically saying how people did want to help Pink all along despite himself shutting everyone out, and they kept trying no matter what, and now that he has torn down the wall he can see that he really is loved. Oh so true in life.

  • I can hear the American accents coming through in the back-up singers, hehe.

  • thank you! fantastic.

my only criticism here is where you use the 'vid response to' link under the vid, just use it to link to the next number, not like youtube intended. but that's quite negligible considering the gargantuan effort it must have been putting this up for the world to relive it.

  • Janitor: Is this where I came in?

  • that guy at 0:49 jumps off the stage cause he doesn't want roger to spit in his face

  • haha, nice

  • No, I think he's a roadie. He's setting up a boom mic.

  • This song makes me cry ;)

  • It's disappointing that due to the fact that they couldn't break the storyline, those words at the end were the only real words comming out of Roger's mouth the entire show.
