  • A new song has now been picked but it is still inferior and the final slide is now redundant.

  • Warner Music Group have muted this video due to copyright infringments. I can now pick a different song but the video had been choreographed so I doubt anything else will work.

  • your will get a win webber its coming i know it

  • 0.58 Lewis making another stupid stunt behind the safety car, and causes an accident.

  • anytime it gets close the fia changes the rule so the big teams stay at the top i would love to c redbull bmw toro roso and renault at the top ferrari and mclaren at the bottom now that would be good

  • Mark "almost" webber.

    Yeah.

  • Well Done thats a really good video. I was wondering if you could put a download link for it. THat would be great

  • I suppose he'd crash into himself then if that happened

  • The poor bastard could have had a podium finish in Singapore if the damn car could have gone the distance.

  • why would they do that when Red Bull is going to be the Best team in the pit lane in the nexted couple of years and with that said means he will hopefully be World champion in that time fingers crossed

  • Sadly, KERS and the 2009 aero rules are going to ruin that and hand the advantage back to emotionless manufacturers.

  • mark webber and jarno trulli the most under rated (and unlucky) drivers.. if only they had top cars...

  • Ooh... those ars on 1:08 look so squished...xD

  • All it proves is that you're blind. It's clear to see that the overwhelming majority of his retirements are outside of his control. When he doesn't retire, he almost always beats his teammate, one of the best records on the grid at doing that.

  • i think vettel will kick his ass though

  • totaly agree, and if youve done ur research, mark has beaten his teammate in every race in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2006 providing he and his teammate finished the race

  • Your Just Scared About 2009 When Webber Will Whip'em Dead!! GO WEBBER!!!!!!!!!!

  • Mark is really underrated driver. He deserves a chance to drive in a better team than Red bull because i suspect that RB is't able to make so big step forward to win a race. C'mon u Mark! You're great. Greetings from Poland

  • Agreed. Definitely one of the top 10 drivers on the grid, and probably the best never to have won a race. I wonder how close he would have run against Alonso if he had've moved to Renault in 2005, rather than Fisichella.

  • cool

  • mark webber has been my best f1 driver for about 5 years it used to be eddie irvine but then he retired

  • for me the same!

  • 1.50 fisichella, what an idiot...

  • Everytime I watch webber and when he doesn't do well a little bits inside of me die's

  • good call, dido

  • Mark, Robert, Alonso, Jarno, Rubens, Heikki, Timo - I like them ;)

  • Without a doubt the best driver in F1. He's not in a McLaren, nor a Ferrari or a BMW. He's only in a Red Bull but he still qualifies 2nd. Amazing....even Coultard could only manage 11th in the exact same car.

  • webber claims he is on a 2 stop stratigy and red bull has been on fire all weekend hopefully he can challege for the win!

  • how on earth have you come up with that

  • Good luck for tomorrow!

I swear a Red Bull will win a race this year. C'mon Mark prove me right!

  • Compare 2 Hamilton that gets a ride straight into Mcclaran (what is with dat, Money under the table from the father). Wake up to yourself and smell the petrol fumes you tools. It looks like Webber is to race alongside hamilton next year anyways so goodluck to hamilton next year cause he will not have a chance at this championship.

Lets put hamilton in a Red Bull and Mark in the Mcclarne. He could say hello 2 his national mates Coulthard and Davidson.

Ron Dennis should have thought about Webber

  • Webber's average look at the what he's done outside of formula 1, what money under the table from his father? his father had no money

  • why the gay song??

  • rollercoaster? dont most rollercoasters usually go up aswell as down?

  • Well it started up, with his 1st race, and each podium was an up too. This year is looking like an up too

  • 2002 would be a up then down, 2003 would be all up, 2004 would be down like crazy. 2005 would be zig zag 2006 would be down o the ground 07 would be up and down and 08 would be a steap uphill(so far).

as you can see its a rollercoaster.

  • You wouldnt say this season is an up ? hes having a solid season and at the moment is driving well.

  • what is the music because i like it very much

  • I'll be there for you - The Rembrandts. Made famous by being the theme song for the TV show Friends.

  • One of the fastest drivers on the grid.

Ferrari should drop Massa and put Webber in the seat. He will easily win the championship then.

  • come on mark i can feel your first win coming very soon this year maybe certainly next year though!!

  • I think Red Bull are on the right track, hence why webber is looking at extending his contract with them.

At least finance wise, Red Bull are able to be competitive in the future.

Quality driver always has been, just needs a reliable car and its on like donkey kong for that clown hamilton

  • Ferrari need to hire him instead of massa

  • No. Massa is doing a good job with Ferrari now, he's going nowhere.

Maybe he could go at McLaren.

  • My favorit driver is he. Since the minardi... At sunday on the monaco Gp he was very great. I think he will be a champion not too far...

  • So far in 2008 Webber is the best of the rest. There is little doubt Ferrari,McLaren and BMW Sauber are the best cars. What car is the 4'th best? The Toyota? The Renault? The Williams? Red Bull?

Mark Webber still does a great job with the car he has. A couple of podiums would be nice.

And Mark has always qualified really well in Monaco no matter what car he was in.

He deserved to win in Monaco in 2006.

  • 4th best? I'd say Red Bull had better results, 5th is Renault, 6th is Toyota, 7th is Williams, 8th is Honda, 9th is Toro Rosso, 10th is Force India.

  • absolutely; from where Mark is, the top 6 spots are theoretically pretty much taken, and that doesnt leave much in the points department. Given the reliable car this year, hes shown (as we always knew) hes an excellent qualifier and a solid driver. Should be an interesting hustle for the end of the season given toyota & renaults boost in form.

  • god i hate this song. nice vid otherwise

  • Webber is such a champion. The Aussie battler. I still honestly believe he is one of the quickest drivers in F1. Has outpaced all of his team-mates, from Minardi, Jaguar, WIlliams and now Red Bull. All the best Mark!

  • Actually, Webber got dominated at Williams by both Heidfeld and Rosberg.

  • Is that why Webber got 3 more points than Rosberg despite finishing less races? And Webber was hardly dominated by Heidfeld, they were both competitive and if the team didn't decide to pit Heidfeld first in Monaco he would've been equal on points.

  • Yeah, I don't know why Rosberg came out.

Even so, Heidfeld just had superior results then Webber. Can't blame him, Heidfeld is 2 years more experienced.

  • Lets see then, in malaysia heidfeld got 3rd when Webber was 3rd(heidfeld was 5th at the time) but got hit by fisi who tried a stupid move on the inside and took him out, then in monacco the team made webber stay out longer behind the slow alonso whioch cost him 2nd ahead of heidfeld, then when Heidfeld got 2and in Europe, Webber was taken out by Montoya whilst in 4th, webber didn't get dominated its more like webber dominated hiedfeld but when ever he did someone would hit him.

  • ...such is the Webber Curse

  • dominated by Rosberg? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME???

  • dominated by Rpsberg? DID YOU READ MY 2ND COMMENT?

  • Webber always out qualified Rosberg and him and Heidfeld were about the same with Webber a little faster.

  • Yes, that's why Heidfeld got a pole position.

  • Yes thats why heidfeld only beat webber twice in qualifiying. and only once when both drivers finished.

  • u don't get points for pole. Webber beat Heidfeld 9-5 in qualifying and in the championship although Heidfeld did miss a few races.

  • Heidfeld had more points, and raced in leat races! He even got a pole!

  • Webber got second on the grid in a jaguar. Heidfelds doing rubbish now anyway, Kubica is loads faster, Webbers almost got as many points as Heidfeld in a Red Bull.

  • Imo, it seems Webber can no longer pull out the qualifying miracles he once could. He hasn't been in the top 4 for ages and he's in an arguably better car now.

  • i see your point but ferrari, mclaren and bmw are alot faster so its very difficult to break into the top 4. The best he can realisticly achieve is seventh, but Red Bull fill his car up for long stints so its difficult to qualify well now.

  • Thats becuase the Jaguar was a suden death car.

Everythign went for qualifying and in the races it just fell apart, webber this year is driving his best season ever imo.

May get him linked with bmw in place ofr hiedfeld if he doesn't improve.

  • Would be nice but i think he's too old now to join a big team, he's missed his chance unless the RB5 is a ripper.

  • I don't think so, teams such as bmw and mclaren beg for an expereinced driver to even out there team, mark webber has just put his had up really high with his drives this year and i would expet him to be in a competitive car next year regardless if he stays.

I remeember awhile back fisichella was given a chance at Renault after a ripper season in the suaber he was 34 at that time, Webber is 31 not to mention bmw offered him a contract in 2006.

  • I'd say if Heidfeld drive poorly for a few more races, BMW will go for a combo with youth (Kubica) and experience (Webber) for 2 years until Webber retires/moves and Kubica goes to Ferrari or McLaren

  • Would be great if he could go to Ferrari if Kimi leaves at the end of '09. Webber would be about 33-34. Schumacher was about 36-37 when he retired, maybe a bit older.

Love to see Webber win at least one race on his own merit.

  • Well he's in a better race car - but not a better car for qualifying. The thing about the jag and the williams was they chewed through their rear tyres. This helped in quali but come lap 5 in the race, he would go backwards, and developed a reputation as a 'great qualifier but poor racer." He's still got it, he's in the form of his life :p

  • OH MY GOD!!!! i remember that sunday night after melbourne 2002 - i and 21 million aussies were like...holy fuck hes gonna win 8 championships in 2 years hahah, then he joined williams.....goodbye promising career. - anyway aslong as he keeps qualifying 5th and fnishing 6th in a red bull everyrace, while coulthard crashes and swears, he'll be on the grid for a lot longer. WEBBER FOR 2009 CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!

  • Yeah,it's too bad Mark didn't want to go to Renault when offered a drive or he'd be winning races and sitting in a top car today, possibly Ferrari.

Let's hope Adrian Newey still has some magic left to make the Red Bull a winner in 2009.

  • Although i have been a fan of his since he started, i've got to point out that the first crash as soon as the video starts out was his fault. I was reading about it a few weeks back, with 2 laps to go, he decided to try and cool down his overheating tyres in a puddle of water. Rather comical if you ask me ;)

  • True that one was his fault but you can't blame him on a day when half the field went out, he actually span earlier at turn 3 and recovered unlike Schumi, Button, Montoya, Pizzonia, Wilson and Verstappen. Your reasoning doesn't fit though, he crashed with 18 laps to go.

  • awesome vid good work mate

  • great video

  • Just imagine if he was put in a ferari or mclaren car, reliablitly has been his biggest problems, with a reliable car he would be quite a contender.

  • Nah, his mechanical team just has to stop screwing off with his car.

  • you dont think the mechanics know what their doing ?

  • he must have some punch bag with the luck he's had but i hope dc and him do well at the rest of 08 u never no he might win i hope so

  • Whats with the song? but mark webber is a fantastic and is so unlucky i'm sure he'll get a championship!

  • The verses refer to the fact that he is always so unlucky and everything seems to go wrong in his career, the chorus is saying that despite his hardships we will still support him.

  • Geez. Poor bloke. Thankfully he isn't in V8 Supercars because he'd win all the races ;).

    Nonetheless, he'll break through soon.

  • having said that not many drivers score points in the worst car in the field

  • Hardly the WORST car.

  • its all about the cars in f1, any of the drivers if you put them in a mclaren ferrari or renult would win races, the rest of the teams are making up numbers

  • He has the ability and talent of the best F1 drivers. It's just to bad he's so unlucky.

  • Alot of it is his fault, he can make some very arrogant mistakes which you have managed to avoid putting in this package. And at best he could possibly be a consistent top 12 finish, but nothing more.

  • Well look at his stats; He's averaged 12th in the championship in the last 5 years even with all the retirements, he could do more. I made a list of his retirements since 2005, he's caused 4 out of 22 by my count.

  • Swert - gr8 vid of Webber, pretty much sums up his career, every step forward he makes, someone crashes in2 him and its 2 steps back...that being said when he does finish a race it normally means points. He'll defiently get 1/2 podiums this year.

Good choice of song as well, not that i dont like the song but at least the song was relevant to the action...

  • I've just realised that the clip at 2:02 is focussing on Pizzonia not Webber. Nonetheless, Webber has DNFed the last 5 Brazilian GPs. Not quite matching Barrichello's streak of 9 DNFs though.

  • Mark Webber's the modern day Chris Amon - the most unlucky driver in Formula 1. He'd be world championship material in a McLaren or Ferrari without a shadow of a doubt.

  • Most unlucky?

HA! You forgot about DC! ;)

  • Mark Webber for sure

  • DC has won 13 races!!!! how is that unlucky!!!

Mark has won Zero, but deserves to win several!

  • God that pass on Heikki was brilliant

  • Great in qualifing, fast in the races. But man do you have bad luck. Wish you the best.

  • he is the best ... f... the rest

  • You're dead right - we'll always be there for him too, and especially when he finally does what he deserves and wins!

  • Thanks for the post! Poor Mark ladyluck has never been by his side. He's driven absolute POS in the past, especially that that FW28.

Lets hope the RB4 can give him a bit of relief into a career marked with bad luck and disgraceful unreliability.

  • mark is a true champion, lets hope 2008 and the RB4 will finally bring him some long waited luck

  • Is not champion, never will be, but very very good F1 driver.

  • Lol it's amazing he still gets up in the morning...a lot of respect as a driver

  • PS that's the first time I've seen the long shot of Hamilton bunching up the field, F*ck I hate him!

  • Yeah absolute tool, Mark was on for the win that day, was fast than him before the SC.
