  • yea all these wanna be gangstas from differnet city's wanna act like they hard and tough.....but aint got no heart up in the CHI.

  • How many boys in the hood went to IIT? It was right in their backyard. Preparation plus opportunity equal sucess. Shoot out to 63th and Dorchester St. I never look back

  • Where are the people??? It's looks so dead and empty. I live in NYC and even in our pj's you will see people out. This just looks dead and not the Chicago I remember back in the 80's.

  • @ranus69 From 22nd(Cermak) to 52nd on State St has been dead for within 5 years now. All the projects have been bulldozed and the last ones by Cermak are like 1 left now which it called "The Ikies", but its about to come down. Yeah Its Ghost Town at night like Gary Ind.

  • why are the streets so dead??

  • It was New Year's Day. For commuting, it would be great if it was like this all the time;-)

  • I live in cleveland, and recently visited detroit MI... Chicago is not poor like Cleveland and Detroit. Cleveland and Detroit have lost half of its population... These projects aren't bad... You should see the abandoned houses, being looted and stripped for metal.

  • man newark nj is more dangerous then chiacago and detriot...search in newark nj and ya'll gon see what it is real rap

  • fuck yall niggas chicago will beat yall ass hoe

  • right thats just what I had 2 tell dude hoe azz!!

  • you niggas kill me gettin on our sites talkin about yall so tough. you don't see us on your sites hatin. newark is some hoes, never will you outside niggas be like the chi, period!!!

  • yeah i always see chi niggas hatin on other sites, so just speak for ya self homie

  • @973akamurdaville Nah man, Chicago is now worser than Detroit (My hometown)

  • where can a whiteboy pick up some H without getting killed?,i tremble driving past dearborn projects and having 5 or 6 brothers rush my car..any safe corners?,screw the bum rush hustle technique, cant anyone just do honest business sheesh...

  • Chicago and Monticello from the Conservative Lords! Central A and Ohio, shit even Cicero and Gladys they be the unknowns. Just DON'T fuck em over and be on no bullshit. Watch for cops traps b hot.

  • thanks for the heads up!..always intrested in a new corner :)

  • I thought Detroit was was a wreck!

  • man, IIT is surrounded by projects, they do a good job keeping the ickes out

  • The ICKES not even close, Dearborn Homes.

  • dude, the ickes are right east of china town, cermak (22nd) and state, i used to go to IIT

  • dude DEARBORN HOMES! RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM IIT, I USED TO LIVE THERE, 2971 SOUTH FEDERAL, 2931 SOUTH FEDERAL. BORN AND RAISED!

  • you can walk to the ickes in ten min. from where i stayed. so if your really from dearborn then you should know how close and how horrible the icks are

  • same as the rest of them!

  • It's important to showcase the City of Chicago and to show the injustices that have come about. The city wants to get its spot in the 2016 Olympics. Chicago, you need to check yourself before you wreck yourself.

  • FUCK you Joe, we already wreecked! The MOST crime ridden cith in the FUCKIN US! Al capone, goodfellas, gangs, hos, killing and money will ALWAYS be HERE!

  • REALLL TALKK * LOVE CHI TOWN 4eva!!

  • that ain't a good thing homie. so u saying u like it when ya homies die, when kids mess up they life, and all the mothers that lose they children, just so u could say ya city is hard like niggas in other cities give a fuck cuz they go through the same shit.

  • Why they taken our billins?

  • those ppl didn't work however I think putting them in the suburbs is stupid too.

  • Actualy these people did work they had there own underground economy

  • @ArtGaul Yeah putting them in suburbs was a bad idea, thats why decent suburbs like Country Club Hills, Sawk Village, Aurora, Bolingbrook, Joliet, Justice is Now messed up. Now, they're kicking the section 8s out of Joliet, Bolingbrook and Aurora because of crimes rates gone up after placing project niggas there.

  • uk ..london has the same thing

  • I think London's projects are as bad as Chicago's

  • I mean't not as bad sorry I made an error.

  • Actualy they probaly are worse cause this shit is gone now

  • stareway was the biggest housing projects

  • still slummy for all I know-- give it time; gentrification will hit the old ghettos as it has hit the north side.

  • driving right into the ghetto...

  • Actually, it's the safest it's been in 45 years. And what they're building to replace the projects is basically what was there before the projects were built. The ones at 35th Street, just south of IIT, start at a quarter of a million dollars. They better hope the housing slump doesn't last.

  • This is fabulous. I hope you'll be inspired to do more like this. How about doing south on Michigan and west on Roosevelt from the Loop?

  • You read my mind. Roosevelt from the Dan Ryan to State Street is already up on YouTube; Michigan south of the Loop and Roosevelt west of the Ryan will have to wait till some of this snow melts -- hopefully within the next week or so:-)

  • i had family come up from Atlatnta and we was downtown and they started talkin and i decided to make the exact same trip i took em downtown on michigan then over to state then started headin south i took past the new buildings and passed the hilliards(where i stayed as a lil kid) through englewood (where i stayed till i was about 7) through Roseland (where i just moved from) and back home to the burbs where im at now...they was shocked to see how drastic the changes were

  • i did that when i picked up a friend of mine from Midway airport and we were drivin east on 55th and she was like "oh this is all chicago is" and i said you'll see how it changes wait till we cross western then we ended up in the 'wood and eventually back to the hundreds

  • Robert Taylor homes once da largest housing project N da nation, notice da camera lights? they all over da city supposely as a way to detour crime but I think our freedom is being taken away.
