This closing theme started - and ended - in 2001.

It debuted on Monday, February 5, 2001, and was replaced on Sunday, September 30, 2001, when CBC changed its entire image package.

It staggers me how CBC management steps in it time and time again. This ident package was brilliant, and I am sure it wasn't cheap to produce. And they can it after less than 8 months? Augh!

The brilliant thing about this ident package is the music -- really BIG sound, à la John Williams (without a full opening, you don't get the full power of it). Who was the composer? Who were the musicians?
