Weezer sucking has nothing to do with Matt sharp leaving. It has to do with rivers no longer being depressed and the public reaction to pinkerton. that combined with beverly hills, i think rivers realized that the less he tries, the more records he will sell. also he doesn't want to be seen as a geek and has rejected the honesty that made him great.

if it sounds almost identical to the studio track, it doesn't seem that you could be paying much attention. there is no tangible lead guitar, Rivers' vocal is limp and off-key....regrettably, the band seem incapable of reinventing a track that remains the peak of their own develoment. RIP the real Weezer, that band died in '96.

even the falsetto is fine, weezer are one of the best bands for there close contention to a studio track whilst singing live,not many bands these days sing without auto-tune! camden is one of the best performances by a band and is one of the best in regards to weezer!
