This game is balls. The controls are absolute garbage. No, don't say "I suck" or "I don't know how to play." I can play. I honestly think this game sucks and is overrated. Just an opinion. Hate it if you want.

The circle is grip level. It's something like a breath meter. Hold on too long, you fall off. So let go and stand on him after stabbing the leg to refill it.

@MrChocolatemuncha Pay attention to the circle (which represents your grip I believe) If it's small you have a bad grip. If its large than you have a good grip. rest on the non fleshy parts of the colossus to build it up. (for example the wooden platform thats on this one.)

I haven't actually played the game but that seems like how it works.

I like a challenging game, but it seems like these fun games are developed just for game pros and people who spend a lot of time playing video games and excludes the casual gamer. Too bad, because I could really enjoy this game. I do like a challenge...just not something so difficult. Where to stab these giants?

@2arunout it's a challenge but it's not too difficult. I struggled with the first couple of colossus but by the 4th I found I was really enjoying myself. Just stick with it for a little bit longer and remember that you don't always have to be holding onto the colossus, you can let go when he stops moving to recover your stamine. Also if you hold the circle button (with your sword out) and scan the colossus you can see it's weak points. Happy gaming :)

I played this for the first time today and defeated three colossi. It took a while to get used to the controls, but it's really fun. ^^

The tendrils surprised me though. It took me a couple tries to figure out what exactly I was supposed to be doing on the first one and I thought that by walking into the colossus I'd killed myself. xD

Its the first Boss, he's easy as pie. There will be moments that if you don't know what your doing, he will attack you. And on Hard Mode, he shakes like hell and has a second weak spot. I pretty much know what I'm doing to kill him this fast which is why it doesn't seem challenging.

Well if you've just watched this first video and not the others, then surely your getting the wrong idea. Of course the first boss fight is going to be abit easy even in Hard Mode. Heck even for any game some first boss fights are easy to kill. But there are really hard and annoying Colossus boss fights that come up as you progress in the game that can be a real pain in the ass to kill.

Hard Mode definately shows the definition of how those Colossus' can be. Namely the Ninth and the Fifteenth Colossus, or even the Twelfth. Each of them have a unique way to figuring out the strategy that you have to do to kill them. Not to mention they shake like hell so much and have more than one weak spot that you have to find.

And this happens when you play in Hard Mode. Also, I may make it look easy but thats because I've played the game way too many times that I've gotten used to how to play it as if I were a pro. But trust me, anyone who has played the game for the first time found it hard considering from the few comments that some people have mentioned to me. And even in the beginning when I first played the game it was hard for me too.

But it just seems your assumptions is based on what you see since you haven't played the game yourself. But for me, it doesn't really matter if its easy, hard, or even unrealistic. Its a matter of enjoying the game and having fun. And this game was really, as epic, awesome, and fun as for any other game that I enjoyed playing.

So if you ever have a chance to play it yourself, whether you don't like it or you do like it, just remember, it has to be how the experience was for you, and not by watching how it was for others.

Also, remember: suspension of disbelief is a key component to playing a fantasy video game. Since there are no giant stone monsters containing pieces of an exiled god running about, we have no way of knowing whether or not three stabs to the head would be sufficient to bring one down or not. It didn't go into his cape, it went into his body actually. But its basically part of Dormin's "spirit" that goes into Wander's body once he kills each of the Colossus'.

Oh trust me, I may make it look easy but thats because I've played the game so many times to know what I'm already doing. But honestly it is quite challenging. Try the game on Hard Mode and also play the Time Attack Mode...the Boss' are much stronger, some even have more weak points you have to find, they deal much more damage to you, and they shake...like hell @.@

I ran into this problem too and it pissed me off to no end, what you need to do is actually AIM at a part. I think its a little stupid in terms of gameplay but whatever.

The way you do it is center yourself in a good place on his head, then tap the X button ONCE, and Wander will raise his sword, then once you see that, immediately tap it a second time to drive it into the fucker's skull. Sooo satisfying I might add, lol. Happy gaming.

Hey, Emmie. You might want to get a DVD recorder in order to fix any lag and audio issues you're having while recording. They're relatively cheap now (~50$), and a DVD-RW means that recording is cheap.
