  • disney did it right long time ago =)

  • Gotta love that outsourced animation!

  • Bonkers has a curious effect on people. Absolutely everyone hated him. Lol

    INCLUDING ME. FUCK YOU BONKERS.

  • go bonkers best cops yet

  • I still think Lucky was the best partner for him.

  • The manliest Disney cartoon besides Doug.

  • good cartoons are when they get hit by anvils

  • when i was little i never liked this show, BUT i always loved the song its great

  • what happened to cartoons like these there even redoing bloody loony tunes but i bet it still wont be as good as the old ones by the by favourite loony tunes the roadrunner and wile e. coyote those guys were hilarious

  • I still have this game on the Super nintendo

  • Anyone who dislikes this must REALLY be bonkers!

  • if you grew up during the time of these cartoons and before ....9 times out of 10 you either have a VERY VIVID IMAGINATION or your just all emotionally fucked up but you would go back to those days where they had REAL cartoons like JDUNN327 said

  • @Holloway6151975 for me it's the former heh.

  • thumbs up if you noticed mad hatter at 0:51

  • It's interesting how television animation copied the same trends from the old school era. In the late 80s and 90s you have all these full animation squash and stretch cartoons and now you have limited animation where everything looks flat.

  • That was suppose to be Roger Rabbit......Godammit...

  • I wouldnt mind going bonkers.

  • My Little Pony is probably the last great western cartoon we will see in a while.

  • oh my gosh. i totally forgot about this show! i loved this! haha u gotta love the 90s. theyre shows were so dumb but in a GOOD way. not like adventure time which is just plain weird. i miss these shows!

  • this was back when America actually exported both products and culture

  • You know why there are so many great music bands from the 60's and 70's and so few from npw: Drugs!

You only have to look at the whacked-out ideas animators had in the 80's and 90's to see the same effect...Gummi Bears, Racoons, Mutant Turtles named after renaissance artists, a group of ducks who live in a mansion, squirrels who rescue people....god love those acid-tripping Disney nutjobs! :D

  • @JackRabbitSlim how do you explain Fantasia? i think sleep deprivation has more to do with the altered states if that is what caused these ideas. but to be honest they are pretty normal.

  • @JackRabbitSlim Let's not forget weird animals that were two in one (Wuzzles).

  • I wish cartoons didn't die. RIP cartoons from the early 90s and before. It's too bad cartoons these days are 99% garbage

  • Acid is one hell of a drug

  • Did anyone else have the game for Sega Genesis? It was oooo hard xD

  • sorry to compare these things but... is bonkers the Harvey Birdman of Disney?

  • sigh, and now the kids rot their brains with hannah montana, vampire diaries, and jersey shore...the common denominator being that = they are not kid shows!

  • i love it

  • I wish I could relive the 90s again, more specifically 1990 to 1996, just once.

  • what year is this?

  • I wanna be a child again -___- :-D

  • Bonkers rocks!

  • cartoon on crack

  • he still looks like a pizza

  • from a musician standpoint you have to be a very talented and creative music producer for creating cartoon songs and themes.

this and other 90's and 80's cartoon tunes are pure genius!

damn! Disney serious fell off on there shows! the new cartoons are terrible

  • lol i watched bonkers all the time in the 90's when i was little....good times. i can't believe the intro is on here

  • i remeber this

  • NOW THIS IS A CARTOON!

  • I MISS THIS SHOW T.T

  • I forgot the name of the rabbit.

  • @tdickensheets Fall-Apart Rabbit.

  • i have the game but they need to put the show on dvd and blue ray

  • Back when Disney Channel was Cartoons :P miss it

  • @xxneonbunniexx gosh dangit, this was on broadcast.

  • I love how this cartoon is basically Hong Kong Phooey for the 90s audience. XD

  • sigh....if only these cartoons wuld come bac on lol i feel old looking at all these old shows i use to watch as a kid

  • BONKERS IS AWESOME!!! AAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAAAAA!!!!

  • I miss REAL cartoons...

  • I almost forgot this show thanx youtube

  • i used to watch this show everyday at 3:00pm.

gosh i miss this show...i always liked Miranda as the cop on there...definitely my favorite show of all time!! :D

  • That Officer looks like Ron Swanson :D

  • When I was a child I had a crush on Miranda! That must have been more than 15 years ago!

  • I miss this old show.

  • thumbs up if you miss the 90's and want it back

  • Miranda is the sexiest cop I've ever seen! ;)

  • Haha, man I remember that I had a crush on the fat guy's daughter when I was little. I wish I could go back in time and be a kid again, cartoons were actually worth watching. I mean can you believe this was on freaking disney channel? Now all they have are terrible sitcoms.

  • This cartoon has ALL the same elements of WHO FRAMED RODGER RABBIT? Namely no matter how much you TRIED to get rid of Bonkers,He always pops up to where you get stuck with him >;-3)p

  • i use to stay up till 12 watchin this then that momster under the bed it came to live in the night lol

  • :51 itsnt that the Mad Hatter? O.o

  • Memories

  • Bonkers' animation varied- sometimes it was simple and nothing extraordinary... but other times it was so silky and sublime and beautiful it was to die for. Even the characters' teeth moved amazingly well.

This show is Grade A wonderful- through and through.

  • theres nothing like the classic...wtf is up with ppl of today

  • is it just me or was tv animation at this time insane? I mean this looks more like theatrical animation rather than tv animation. everything has weight and depth and wonderful timing.

  • @Nertrender Back then they actually had to put effort into making animated shows because they didn't have computers to do it for them.

  • @melodymorano is that not over simplifying things a bit? I mean I was comparing this to the previous years of Filmation and Jay ward and Hanna and Barbera (all good in their own right but much cheaper to make for television). This almost came off as the theatrical stuff of the 30's and 40's Also computers don't do the work for you you it is just different.

  • @melodymorano People can put just as much effort in 2d computer animation as they can in traditional. Don't be bias because it's not done "the normal way". Plus, computers don't animate it for you.

  • @transformersrocks123 Okay I didn't mean that computers do most of the work "for" people. Obviously 2D computer animation can be good, if done properly (like Samurai Jack). But honestly, I really feel that among the majority of animated shows made today, the medium has suffered because of computer-based animation. Take Johnny Test for example. No shading, no depth, stilted, robotic movements. It's all done in Flash.

  • @Nertrender A lot of these shots don't look like they're from the show, and a lot of cartoon openings would be better animated than the rest of the show. The Megaman or Thundercats openings are good examples of that.

  • @squeehunter thank you for the insight. It makes sense and is probably true but I just pick up Talespin from the library and that was still impressive in terms of in show animation.

  • @Nertrender This was just at a time when Disney actually gave a crap about the shows they made.

  • @joethehero2 Now, I actually tend to believe that it has more to do with economy and changing time than not caring.

  • @joethehero2 Seriously how is Disney even making money with the crap they make now? ಠ_ಠ

  • @9solar9 The "Easily Exploitable Tween" Demographic, obviously. How the hell else did twilight do so well.

I think Mike Nelson put it best; "Coldly calculated to pander to your shrieking demographic"

  • @Nertrender Mostly for the first season. The latter episodes had really standard tv show animation.

  • @harry426 thank you. It was a such a long time ago and I was so young I don't think I could have remembered.

  • @Nertrender until they started getting even more greedy, Disney's tv show animation was insane :]

  • @Nertrender Disney animation has had consistently high quality in their animation since Gummi Bears and Ducktales. Those two shows proved you could have a one hundred man animation team work on a cartoon television show and make a profit on it.

  • @superjon89 Yeah, those shows set a period up where several shows were comparable to golden age shorts. Disney tv cartoons are still enjoyable and well done but they don't have the Disney look.

  • i almost forgot about this show

  • Roger Rabbit should sue this rip-off....

  • @CoolerKing37 This was supposed to be ABOUT Roger Rabbit but legal problems ensued so they had to create entirely new characters

  • What happened to cartoons...

  • Boah ich hab echt Jahre immer mal wieder gesucht und keiner kannte das und jetzt stoß ich endlich drauf. Hammer genial ^^

  • I have to say the more i remind myself of the old cartoons the more i have to say "today cartoons are sh*t"

  • I used to watch this all the time!!

  • omg i forgot about this cartoon....toooooooo funny

  • Fall Apart rules!!! xD

  • BAHH.. TOONS.. LOL

  • @video64ps2 me neither lol

  • i miss this crazy ol' ass shit......

  • Seeing this again made me go bonkers lol

  • I miss this show. Would watch Toon Disney non-stop as a kid. My parents thought I had a problem but, it was just good TV.

  • omy i love this show. i have not seen it in years

  • batmanrules16@ well that makes sense :) thanks

  • damn i completely 4got about this show, i LOVED THIS back in da day

  • A Roger rabbit cash in I see

  • @thetoastman25 actually it was going to be about Roger and Eddie but there were some copyright problems so they created their own characters and we got this.

  • This intro is so remembered by me. I remember this intro because I was watching Toon Disney in the summer while playing Super Mario Kart.

  • NOSTALGIA BONER!!!

  • Comment removed

  • This show sucks.

  • I really can't think if I remember this or not .There are a few bits of the intro that are very familiar but overall it's not.

Will have to track down a few eps and watch them, just to be sure.

  • also i got a strange vibe of roger rabbit while watching this opening.

  • For some reason, this cartoon reminds me of 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?'

  • This was one of my favorites. I reeaally liked Bonker's eccentric personality hahha :)

  • Someone's stealing the show! haha it's been a while

  • MAN I LOVED BONKERS NEVER SEEN IT IN YEARS and I only remember the one with the sheep but I'm starting to remember more at lest.8D

  • Ouch! It hit me. ;w;

I hadn't remembered this show until I watched this.

  • used to watch this show as a kid....wow

  • I never got why his partner left. Cool show.

  • @huneylove5 omg I love DW! ...ok, more so his evil twin, but I love the show. XD

  • @yogurtcongelado13 I thought his evil twin was cooler too!

  • I remember hating this show so much because I had to watch it before Darkwing Duck came on after.

  • Hhahaha, I remember this...

What type of animal are you?

    Im a Wannabe.

  • كان عمري 9 سنين

  • I forgot all about this show! what kind of 90's kid am I?!

  • That song by Armand van Helden and Dizzee Rascal sent me here.

  • The Lion King taught me to learn from your past, Pochahantis taught me to respect nature. Chip and Dale taught me even the smallest creatures serve a purpose, and the Jonas brothers taught me its ok to be gay.

  • @Kevster012 i love you for that its true

  • @Kevster012 and Bonkers thought me that cartoonists are AWESOME! =D

  • @jshadowhunter, yup.

  • Why is everyone losing body parts?

  • "Cartoons never die.

    Except for Bonkers."

God, how I loved Animaniacs constantly burning Bonkers.

  • makes u want to be a kid all over again..just for a lil while..

  • i actually dont remember this XD

  • So many memories!

  • OMG- I was soooo Addicted to this Show. Love Bonkers and Fall-a-part the Rabbit

  • I love Disney channel This show! :)

    Bonkers! ボンカーズ!

  • I loved this show! :)

  • This has nothing to do with the video. I'm jewish. chris1983, a user here, used racial slander against me. Does YouTube have rules against that?

  • Was more of a fan of the Raw Toonage Bonker shorts myself.

  • my favorite disney cartoon . and others

  • i actually didnt no this was a show till i saw the intro! no kidding.

  • If Walt Disney was living today he wouldn't let this be

  • When I was a kid I would sit in front of a black-and-white rabbit-eared television watching the home shopping program because this show came on right after it.

By the way, if you know what I mean by rabbit-eared television, then you are definitely old enough to have watched this show.

  • @imtheonlysane1here I used to watch my cartoons on a little TV with giant rabbit ears...I feel ya.

  • damn i avent thought about this show in 15 years

  • They need to put this on DVD & Netflix. NOW!

  • Wow I can remember hurrying to get my homework done back in 2001 so I could watch Bonker's at 7......

  • good god i miss the 90's i pity this current generation and there shitty cartoons well at least they haev anime to fall back on back when we where kids it sucked

  • I will never understand why this show gets so much hate. It provided me with my mantra, which I use to this day:

    LUCKY

    "Why did you do that?!"

    BONKERS

    "Because it was funny."

  • never saw the show but i definetly remember this intro

  • 0:51 - Mad Hatter?

  • I really wanted to watch this show but I can't find the episodes on YouTube :(

  • is this disney? you can tell because its so fucking cheesy

  • @TheCreator4 Read the description.

  • I never knew Bonkers had a show. I only knew him from the game for the Sega Genesis

  • disney channel blows! nick was better!

  • I prefer Bonkers with Piquel than Miranda, two times the Jim Cummings works for me.

  • That man always reminded me of John Goodman.

  • It's strange how many of the people who are saying they love this show are fully grown adults by now, since this show started back in 1993. Strange how the internet allows people to talk about kids shows freely.

Imagine what it would be like in real life if a large group of grown adults congregated and started talking about how these children's cartoons are amazing.

  • @sega31098

Haha me and my friends while hanging out in a restaurant one day, were making a rukus about what were the best Disney cartoons. Asking the waitress and random people sitting next to us, if they agree, not to mention we were all college graduates when this happened lol.

  • @sega31098 I'm 20 and I quote Spongebob with whoever I meet, and they always know what I'm talking about. There is no need to be ashamed.

  • @sega31098 That group of adults could then claim to be animation majors and everyone would immediately forget about it. : D *animation major*

  • @sega31098 The groups I've been in all love a great reminiscent chat about these old cartoons! Even the 30+ groups haha :D

  • @sega31098 I congregate with my grown adult friends and talk about how these children's shows cartoons are amazing.

  • @sega31098 i would talk about it, i don't care who knows that i still love cartoons

  • @sega31098

Have you ever been around a bunch of nerds in their twenties?

  • @sega31098 happens all the time in my circle of friends. We love these shows. We stil watch them.

  • @sega31098 it does happen, saw a duck tails dvd at the store the other and started talking about it with my friends. its just alot of ppl forget about the show and u never see them anymore so it never comes back up. except on the internet, everythings here :/

  • @sega31098 Actually, I have no reservations about proclaiming my adoration and love for old cartoons such as Bonkers, Goof Troop, Care Bears, etc...yeah I get weird looks and a few people telling me to grow up and get my head out of the '90s, but whatever. I'm not ashamed lol.
