Good work Chris - nice mix of colours in that shot. There's something special about a Duchess rolling effortlessly along like that, and 40 years since they were banished from the mainline... Thank God for preservation!

Thanks David and Amen for preservation but don't get me started on 40 years ago - I didn't understand it then and I still don't now. Oh how I hated those decision makers. Heartbreaking times - all those lovely locos cut up in their prime - see what you've started now!!! Chris

Hi Louisa, a nice location but not one where the engine is working in this direction sadly but as Linesider says above the Duchess looks good even in these situations. Chris
