  • japan and japanese people

  • @pysiaktoon

? :) what do you mean Japanese?

  • hey are those transaxles locked cause my wheel horse would never do any of that shit u guys do

  • @DodgermMan

Hey man, I don't know man, we've had a few wheelhorse's and they do really good even though they are fully open end. They are so light, and well balanced, they just go through shit pretty good. As long as you have decent tires on them. These do have built in controlled differentials, there is a knob you turn on the end of the left axle, which tightens the differential. It comes loose as you romp though, so you have to keep tightening it.

But mostly its just good tires, and momentum

  • @tommartyn thanks man

  • I would just love to mud ride with you guys one day with my old roper garden tractor, it's pretty sweet, and I would have to bring a shitload of beer

  • @drdirt1965

hahah, yeah, that would work man :) the Roper's do awesome.

  • IF I WAS A COP ID GIVE YOU ALL A TICKET FOR BROKEN HEAD LIGHTS

  • @catonmtn

hahaha :) If we saw a cop, we'd make a run for it. 6MPH top speed :)

  • wow you guys are alot like me,we should go tear up sometime.were are you guys located at?

  • @ftlboy717

Yeah man, we're always down with more people coming over to romp some tractors up with us. we're over in eastern pa.

  • Great video, thanks.

  • throwing a transfer case at it will not solve all the problems.

  • @XJsmart

Yeah, but thats the kind of thing you can only learn with experience. 15 or 16 times of throwing it experience. :) It did actually end up solving the problem.

  • @tommartyn I find throwing trans cases at things solves all my problems. Ex girlfriends, disobedient pets, annoying parents, assinine cops...

Hehe, actually eastern PA is not far from me. I do trips up towards like aberdeen pretty commonly. Unfortunately only got a truck, not a tractor. :(

  • @redreaper2020

hey man, you can always get a tractor and throw it in the back of your truck :)

  • thanks

  • can you tell me the pros and cons of 4-stroke engines

  • @fd5848517

Well, most all gas, diesel, and LP engines used in any machine or car are 4 stroke, so one of the pros would be that it is the standard type of engine used by people. 2 strokes aren't very common, except on snow mobiles and jet ski type crafts.

4 strokes are very reliable, don't use very much fuel in comparison to 2 strokes, they don't smoke like 2 strokes, you can pus straight gas in them. The engines tend to last way longer. and have more torque.

  • @tommartyn

On the down side they don't rev nearly as high as 2 stroke engines, they're alot heavier, don't start as easy in the cold (i don't know why) and 2 stroke engines produce around the same HP as a 4 stroke, but with half the displacement. Because 2 stoke produce a power stroke every time the engine spins, where as a 4 stroke has to spin twice to make one power stroke.

Go to google and search for

    4 stroke wiki

that should tell a real detailed description of how they work

  • ...and to think the neighbors hated me before I saw THIS $hit right HERE ! 0/

    Oh Glory-Day, pass me the Sawz-All !!

  • what engines do you guys play with. kohler k series?

  • @ad356

We normally use whatever is on the machine, or what is the easiest to hook on. we only the wisconsins on the bolens, and they seem to hold up the best. I like the k series, they run really well and have a lot of power, but don't seem to last to long with us. Blow rods a lot. Hondas are real good, we've had a lot of luck with them.

  • @tommartyn k series are good engines and hold up extremely well for heavy duty yard work. i just dont think i would romp with one either. they arent cheap to rebuild, and they do have a tendency to blow rods when they get tired. if it starts knocking bad, its time for a rebuild on a kohler. when the rods get tired, they tend to go. otherwise they are extremely durable and the rods generally last 20 years.

  • man i cannot wait for the mud! lol tell me what u think of my tractor.

  • 2 tractors+2 hippes=weekend fun

  • man tom u are crazy yall do some crazy things were the heck u get your tractors from i want one so bad my trails are to bad to ride in so i need a good tractor then i need to change the front pully to a 10inch or bigger and the rear to a 1inch or 2 inch and then i can ride and fix my trials he he ill love it

  • @dragata1

:) haha, awesome, glad you dig our shit. The tractors we use, (bolens) don't have the front and rear pulley thing going on. There's actually a driveshaft and a real clutch going on. Can't change the driveshaft pulley, because its got clutch plates built onto it, but you can put a bigger engine pulley on. 10 inch would be insane :) you'd die :)

  • @tommartyn nope ive hit 56 with a 10inch pully with a 6speed crafstmen and still had 1 more gear to go :) it was FUN as heck ill have to get that thing and show u lol it would be awsome

  • have u ever tipped a tractor dping this

  • ha you guys are great, good taping too

  • @mo0seyf4te

Thanks man! Glad you were liking them :)

  • looks like fun

  • That is awesome! Why does my John Deere 212 get stuck in wet muddy grass when I mow, and these things can go through all that?

  • Haha, thanks! Yeah, i don't know for sure. Some tractors are just too heavy in the wrong places for these kinds of things. Plus bolens have a knob you tighten to make it pretty much completly posi :) That helps alot! That and agressive tires :) ATV tires work awesome! :)

  • @jeffsfleet

funny, i never got my 112 stuck. you might want to get some wheel weights or chains, you wont get stuck then. plus decks are going to get you stuck. i have had my deck on my 112 hung up on stuff before, but without the deck on it, its pretty tough

  • hey you should make an update video of all the trucks, cars, and tractors you still have even if they dont run.

  • Yeah! if i get a chance some day i will :) its gonna be a long fucking video though :)

  • this is perfect for me! inexpensive, quick engine rebuild, long time of fun, little gas

  • it is inexpensive for sure :) they use about 4 times more gas then quads though :( still not that much gas though :)

  • thats cool--going quadding but using tractors

  • haha, yeah, fun stuff :)

  • man thats awsome

  • I had the oppertunity to get my hands on a wheel horse raider 10. I bought a ford LT8G though instead :) with only $50, those were my two options!

  • Nice! is the ford a good tractor? i know the raider 10 is... though i don't really like the 10 HP tecumseh that came on mine. thats why i upgraded to the 5.5 honda. :) i think i paid 50 bucks for the raider 10 too! haha, nice!

  • I love how your throwing engines at that trailer!

  • haha! yeah, we were trying to break off that jack/stand thing, so we could pull it with mikes truck, with out the tailgate hitting that, so we could drive out of mikes bed, onto the trailer, and off of that onto the ground with the 4 wheeler. i think it worked pretty good, though we didn't get it on film.

  • thats a transfer case

  • lmFAO

  • dats cool

  • looks like fun time

  • Awsome as usual- should get a video of the wheelhorse doing donuts in the mud in the field - thatd be way cool- crank it in high gear n let the mud fly.......

I was in tractor supply the other day n found a pair of AG tires i want for my Agway back north- only problem is theyre $65 each... maybe ill see what a set of tire chains cost....

  • Yeah, When i got new tyres for my alko, I got the turf savers cos I wasnt planning on using it for what I do. A pair of ag tyres would set me back £140! But I found some chains that sorta fit. I think I might make a pair that fit better though. You could always try that. :P

  • Im thinking itll most likely be around the same cost- least with the AG tires itll look cooler.

Also with the AG tires ill be able to make it a bit faster- 3 gears on that thing, heck can walk faster than it moves....

  • Yeah, thats the only problem with chains. I don't know how much they would cost new, mine were free. I'd choose the ag's though. Hell, just sell one of you're mower. It'll be worth it ;]

  • :0 Not one of my children! Ill just save up till i can get em- no hurry anyway- its 1200 miles away... hopefully next year i can get a truck n bring em all home again :)

  • Haha, yeah I get a bit like that when I get a 'new' mower. And Yeah guess there isn't a rush. I didn't think you had anywhere to go muddin' around you're home?

  • Well my home here in florida- i dont have any nearby mud. Back north at my folks- theres a large swampy area thats perfect for mudding - the soil in there is this thick black dirt called 'muck' - extremely goopy mud. Cant wait till April.....

  • Man, the wheel horse has 2 atv tires on the back, that i bought at tractor supply! and they're way taller then stock tires, so they give me extra speed... and they are WAY WAY better then AG tires. i wouldn't have expected it, but they get so much more traction then the AG's i have. and they've got full tread and everything. the main thing is just being so tall. i think they still sell the same carsile tires at tractor supply. what size rim is the agway?

  • I think theyre 8" - basic lawntractor rim- problem with tall tires on the agway would be hitting the fenders- since i dont wanna redesign them with a sawzall- might have to raise the fenders- ill see when i get up there.

  • 8" Used to be the basic front lawn tractor rim. 12" puppys in the rear. haha, don't want to go for the sawzall job eh? thats understandable, its sharp, and jagged. raising the fender might not be so hard.

  • Yeah- someday i might want to return it back to mowing duty - itll get a bigger motor tho when that happens- the 10HP is terrible on it for mowing- its good for mud running- the 38" deck pulls the motor too hard.

  • damn-what is the brand of the engine on your agway? I was looking at buying a pristine john deere 112 for mowing-10 horse kohler, 52 inch mower deck. if a 38 inch deck makes a 10 horse work, can that deere really push a 52 inch you think?

  • Well the 10 on it is a briggs( veriticle shaft)- originally had a 10HP teccy- im thinking it was underpowered from the start to begin with when originally built. That and its only a 3 speed make for slow mowing. Keep in mind those older cast iron motors made alot more power.

Even if i change the pulleys, might just leave it to mow a bit easier.

  • What happend to the tecumseh engine? having more gears in a garden tractors transmission don't make them go faster. they are generally only there to provide more speed options, without adding a hi-lo range device or option to the trans. all the bolens are 3 speed trans, and the wheel horse's too. general bolens 1050 style top speed is 6.5 MPH. there is this craftsman here somehwhere, vertical shaft, 4 or 5 speeds, and the top speed is a decent bit slower then a bolens.

  • The original teccy on the Agway was blown up by my buddy- gas leaked thru the carb- flooded the oil ( common problem in teccys- due to the carb setup)- and blammo. He got the 10HP briggs for it.

Older tractors are built way different then new stuff- ill have to say, with the pulley change and 6 speeds on my modded muray- its FAST even tho 1st and 2nd are just like stock.

Im curious to see what my 86 craftsman GTII is like with the 3 hi/3lo trans- i hear its way faster then needs to be...

  • Are you sure it didn't have a 42 inch deck? that was the pretty common big deck size back then. thats the size bolens sold with their 10HP tractors too. or did someone put that 52 inch deck on there?

  • LOL i love the runaway tractor LOL

  • Nice! yeah, you gotta keep an eye out on mike, or next thing you know there will be a driver-less tractor headed at you... hahah

  • LOL sounds kinky LOL

  • at :25 that dude was "GhostRydin tha whip, yo". hahah. I love your old bolens' especially the one with the whats looks to be an office chair seat?-thats awesome. Beastly tires too.

  • :) haha, oh yeah. that one bolens wasn't doing so good. 4 years or so ago, That engine was on a bolens 900, that got abandoned in the creek with a blown belt. creek flooded a few times, engine filled up with water. let it sit for 3 years, the water froze and cracked the block. last year i resurected it, put it on a tractor, and drove it around till i realized there was no oil in it, and the block was cracked. welded it, and it did ok for a while. but then it lost power.

  • just replaced it with another of the same engine, that has TONs of power. so that thing with the office chair is rocking! that is the nicest seat ever for a tractor... :) arm rests, everything! :) its great. i put in a blocker to stop the seat spring from going back too, so that thing is doing great... i should really start making vids of all the insane amounts of repairs, and changes i do to these things... its like a job or something... hahaha! glad you dug it!

  • That'd be cool to see the behind the scenes repairs. You guys don't seem to swap pulleys on anything thats appicable...or is that just me? You do so much muddin I'd figure you'd actually gear up for low end.

  • its tough, because the bolens either use 5/8 thick belts, which is rare to find pullys for, or double 1/2 inch thick belts, and its hard to find a pully with 2 1/2 inch thick belt groves. but yeah, the engines never seem to have the same size shaft as the transmissions either, so i couldn't really swap them. and the bolens have clutches and drive shafts going on, so only the engine pully is changeable. i do put big pullys on some of the wheel horses.

do you mean gear them faster or slower?

  • ah I can see where it'd be hard (and probly expensive) to get the odd sized belts for the old(er) ones. When I say "pulley swap" I mean swap out-replace, Not necessarily swap front to back as some people do. and Yea I meant gear up the back (bigger pulley) for a bit of extra oomph while youre muddin those beasts.

  • Great video like always :)

  • Thanks man! we're having fun!

  • Look's sooo muddy now! :)

  • Yeah... its been getting really bad out there... Hard to walk through for sure. even hard on these old beast tractors too.
