i saw ian about a month ago, and yes his voice is different due to vocal chord damage, but he can still belt out all of our favourite tunes, and still sound great, bless his heart. still sits down afterwards to meet his fans and do autographs as well. love everything he does, his music rolls around in my head every day, and gets me through my daily shifts. thank goodness for mr. tyson--may he continue to enrich our lives for a long time to come, and go safe. there will never be another ian
I saw Ian perform in August 2009, and his voice seemed stronger than in this video. Regardless, he's still the consummate performer, and it was a privilege to see him......would pay to see the show again in a heartbeat. Go easy, Ian.

2 of the finest things in life - Ian Tyson singing and owning an Ellensburg Blue Agate. the MC Horses is one of his best songs.
