Israel crossed a WORDWIDE blockade on APARTHEID South Africa to give it WEAPONS/TORTURE Equipment but complains when the WORLD wants to give FOOD/MEDICAL aid to impoverished Gazans?
Israel caused murder, destruction of property, kidnapping and destruction and with-holding of evidence.
And Israel is saying it was an act of self-defense?

@jystyle religion brings with it a set of 'truths' and 'ethics'. ethics in turn translates into the definition of good and bad.
hence, being a member of some religion, gives you a certain definition/perception for good and bad (right/wrong).
your view (atheist?) is essentially different, hence your definition of good and bad are different.
as for the oxymoron - being a jewish state effectively means that jewish holidays are public holidays (why is Sunday the only weekly day off in Canada?).

However the term "Muslim" means one who submits to one God. In that case, a "Muslim" is a perfect person. Not based on what we label ourselves as but by definition.
