Tom Hardy is quite weird with his antics, but still a man who comes across as sensitive, sweet, sympathetic - and often frightened. Why is it that he mostly play weirdos, and especially characters with psychopathic traits? Bronson, Sikes, Freddie and Bane are all psychopaths/antisocials. He's brilliant at it, but after what I've seen so far he is brilliant in any genre. It looks like he will be on top with the best, like his idol Gary Oldman. Tom as Tommy in Warrior was pure genius. Fantastic.

I loved WARRIOR but i was taken aback by THE TAKE and all his UK work actually. He should get a career like Ryan Gosling's.

Tom hardy has the amazing ability to wierd me out in some of his roles, even though I'm normally incredibly attracted to him. In this, and in 'The Take', he manages to transform himself entirely into someone utterly diabolical. It's a very rare talent, and I hope he eventually gets recognized for it.
