I am a swimmer to I swim about 4 hours a day and I do that in the morning so I have free time in the afternoon to do stuff I like to do.

@Drumwannabe17 dude this video is fake, its a commercial. Real swimming is usually indoor, and being crowded and very stinky with chlorine too. I'm sorry but swimming may be a difficult sport but it is also the least fun of all. Professional swimmers dedicate almost all their time to swimming. Swimming requires more practice then anything else. Swimming requires dedication and you're wrong when you say swimmers do things outside of swimming, because they usaully don'. THey don't have the time.

@1sushicheese1 Yeah I understand this is a commercial. I am a swimmer myself, and I do more things outside the pool than I do in it. If a swimmer doesn't have a life it's their own fault. I have plenty of time to do things other than swimming and these guys do too. They spend around 4 hours a day in the pool around 1 to 2 in the weight room, that still means they have 18 or 19 more hours in their day to do things other than training. subtract sleep and that's still like 10 hours.

Swimming is very fun. Have you learnt how to swim butterfly properly yet? It is the most fun of all strokes, I cannot describe exactly how it feels but it is as though you are riding a wave and breaking out of the water and then crashing back down into it.

Dolphins swim 24 7 and they have a great time!

If you swim like a brick then I would agree swimming could be boring and also detrimental to your status as a living human being.

@Lordmark1234 I'm a competitive swimmer.... Swimming is the least fun sport of all many would agree. It is more based on technique then anything else.... I'm not talking about swimming in the pool splashing around or even learning how to swim butterfly... I learned that years ago and know am trying to switch to a different sport, I'm sick of this activity.
