  • There is more to shred than sweeps! The strat's tone is way better!

  • john wins

  • michael plays like chris broderick

  • John won. props, hes fucking insane

  • I dont know who won, both are great players, but the strat guy was more musical and his playing was cleaner.

  • That's my chord he's sweeping with at 8:30

  • Mr. Stratski has the soul...

other dood's pullina kirk hammet...zakk wylde approach

  • Bra John

  • Cool!

  • Did Dave rub off on these guys or the other way around? There's a lot of little Martone-isms. It's one thing to do a solo and another to use technique in songs so I wouldn't be so harsh judging. You can tell they have a lot to offer.

  • Speed without emotion = Scale Monkey

Strat Guy needs better transitions- between picking and tapping.

    Both great plalyers though

  • Woah the guy with the strat rules

  • The guy with strat wins the other guy needs to learn phrasing and to inject some musicality and passion into his playing there is more to shred than just playing as fast as you can listen to Guthrie govan instead of rusty cooley

  • Strat guy, fantastic player!

  • i don't think i will ever get the "look at me i can play really fast" outlook on guitar.

  • Kid with the seven (eight?) string guitar will probably replace the guitarist in escape the fate someday.

    so...

Guy with the strat ftw! He had better tone and vibrato, and that hybrid/chicken picking was the shit.

  • cool! Two of my shredding buddies!

  • So who won?

  • @NHNagaoka

who do you think should have won I guess is the question!
