Forty years ago, that would have been my little sister on her Shetland Pony. There just wasn't anything like video taping for everyone like that back then. Let me tell you from experiance...small ponies can run! And many times, faster than the big horses because the can turn quicker, so they make up time! Ponies & little kids rock!

To you who say "massive" horses or big horses are dangerous; you are wrong. In fact many normal size "bigger" horses are much safer than some of the ponies out there. It makes sense, because adults can train and ride these bigger horses and therefore most the time time a bigger horse has much more riding experience than a pony.
