The welfare system was designed to HELP those in need, when work was unavailable, or infirmity. it was designed to help people who actually HAVE a sense of shame.

@kellyrowland84 Quoting merriam websters dictionary, "Atheist: one who believes that there is no deity". I see religions as early attempts by man to explain the world around us. A sort of pre-scientific world view.

That's funny..Scientists have only recently discovered what The Qur'aan said about the world 1400 years ago only as a result of advanced technology..Please explain this 'pre-Scientific' world view? In fact many Athiest scientists themselves revered to Islam because of the Scientific facts mentioned in the Qur'aan such as the shape of the Earth being like that of an ostrich egg (specifically) when people until not long ago thought the Earth was flat! Check it out yourself..if you're so sure.
