  • I wish I was there to give a real interview. That's the problem with our country. Our media sucks! Half the country believes Fox news is a nonbiast news station.

  • What's with the dude carrying a gun?

I can say I agree with this overall video.

  • @tejah79 What is wrong with it?

  • That's not funny.

  • Excellent REAL coverage of a tea party. Thank you.

I went to the one in my town. I even made a video. But I couldn't interview anyone because I had no sound. I had to narrate it later.

    Keep up the good work.

  • And I'll also say: CNN = Communist Network News. They're about as "fair and balanced" as Fox is. Both networks feed off of the corrupt snake-oil salesmen we have in Congress and keep us divided.

  • This is not right-wing. This is NOT about party politics. It is not partisan or bi-partisan. It is non-partisan protest against GOVERNMENT, not any particular party. The people at these protests are not protesting Obama or the Democrats, they are protesting BOTH parties running this country into the ground and indebting us, our kids and our grandkids. True though that Fox and the neo-cons want in on the action, just to get free publicity and try to be fair weather patriots.

  • this is not right wing this is libertarian

  • Who said it was right wing?

  • If this is the first episode, I can't wait to see more!

  • Good for a first. I'd like to see what your take on comedy is per your FTL interview. I'd also like to say gj to Jason. If I would've known he was doing one I would've went. Do you live near Defiance, Shaw?

  • Hour and a half, about.

Close enough to get there with no problem.

  • Great work guys.

    (from the UK)

  • Great video, but don't underestimate the influence of the Faux News fascists in this or the Koch-supported "Freedomworks" goons. They may not have started this, but they sure as hell are trying to carpet-bag it and take it over.

Beware of Republicans who saw no problem with government and spending so long as Bush was doing it. Guys like Limbaugh, O'Riely and Beck.

Don't let their siren song destroy a great movement.

  • Good points, Johny. The establishment GOP might try to take it over. One point of distinction I would make is that Limbaugh and Beck spoke very strongly against the profligate spending of the republicans. Hannity did as well. The areas where they fell were on the so-called war on terror and a few other statist repub moves. Beck in particular has been leaning more libertarian, much to his credit.

  • I'd also like to point this out - both sides of the House are riddled with fascism. Any time that government and corporate powers intersect, that's fascism. Some are more militant about it than others, but don't get conned into believing that Obama is a more peaceful man than Bush; and recent bills indicate that the government - not just the Democrats - want us disarmed. Every single time a government has disarmed its people, it has turned on them in a totalitarian fashion.

  • this seems like a promising video series. one of the better put together news videos in the liberty movement.

  • The John Galt Solution is the only solution.

Stop funding and forging your own chains and shackles.

Read/reread Atlas Shrugged today and pass it on!

  • I agree. Your tax dollars go towards funding violence overseas and here at home; your money in the banks is invested in all kinds of horrors. It's time we took back control of our money.

Part of that will be the audit and abolishment of the Federal Reserve. We need sound money in this country that is not based on debt, that is not run like a Ponzi scheme.

  • @silverhawks-Are you familiar with the functionings of a stateless society?

  • @silverhawks Do you presuppose a state? Wait, do I need to define what a state is?

State-a government, a person/group of people, who holds a monoply on the legitimate use of force in a given territory

The state sustains itself with the majority of the population believing in the legitimacy of the state and using force in the margins. All one has to do is pay this fee, (tax), to this group of people lest you face the agents, (police), of the state.

  • Just heard your interview on FTL. The video is well done; thanks for putting it together and thanks to Jason for getting behind yet another great liberty venture. Keep up the good work, guys!

  • Fantastic video guys!

  • inspiring!

  • WOOT!! Way to go Jason!! I love FTL and I love Sakal CAI for supporting freedom.

  • Nice voice but...what's your point?

  • Nice work Jason.

  • He had an awesome speech, and delivery, didn't he?

  • Legalize marijuana and tax that. But leave business alone. Stop sticking it to the most productive and top earners. The people who employ most of America.

  • but we need taxes for school and roads. Most importantly we must support the drug war at this critical hour of need!! RAISE TAXES!!!!!!!!!!!!

    .......

    jk

  • It does not get much clearer!! GREAT VIDEO!

  • If all these people would wake up and even 10% of them joined the Free State Project (yes you go google it)... we could see some real change.

  • Right, because we need people to try and work with the state to get the state to put the gun down.

  • What are the three alternatives?

    1) Everything just keeps going as it is now, decent into the USSA quick or slow it doesn't matter.

    2) Peaceful change the direction away from USSA and back toward more Liberty.

    3) Violent change. Revolution. No certainty of success.

I think choice 2 comes through as preferable.
