  • Oh and another question. I'm not sure if its explained in the next 2 videos, but im running out of time. How would I export a video to dvd? I have a student film I'm going to be screening at my college on Saturday and I'm having some trouble figure it out. I understand how to export into avi/mp4 etc, but after that I have no clue how putting it onto a dvd works. Any help is appreciated.

  • Just use Encore and DynamicLink. Watch my video on to get an idea

    It's in 3 parts.

Part 1 of 3: Blu-ray Authoring and Adobe Encore Basics

  • What does a yellow line mean? I get red and green is obviously good. Just curious what sequence I should use because my canon e600 i believe is 1920x1080 @ 23.96 and theres only XDCAM which is sony that matches. Is that the sequence i should be using?

  • Red means that it's handled by the CPU 100%. Yellow means a few things, it means that all effects can go thru the GPU (Mercury HW CS5), real time is possible but frame rate or size is off and Premiere can auto adjust. Yellow is OK. Green means it's been pre-rendered.

With Cs5.5 you can now right click on any clip in the Program Panel and "New Sequence from Clip" , this will create a perfect sequence for you. Remember - the 5.5 trial is free and all codecs are now unlocked for 30 days -
