  • Typical nowaday's morning TV show called "Good Morning" usually begins with a news report:

"There was a car accident on the one of the central crossroads in such city; 5 people are dead, 10 people are wounded. Drought has destroyed all the crops in such place. Unknown asteroid is moving towards the Earth, and all that sort of thing. Good morning, friends! Good morning!" :(

  • hell yea

  • @blarson12 cool story bro. stone age, blah blah blah. Do you even belive that? Wut do ya smoke? :)

  • Russia was never going to be killed. Weakened to a point of lesser threat maybe. The Russian people are proud, loyal, strong and intelligent. Anyone who says otherwise is a fool

That being said, if you think Socialism can compete and win against Capitalism, you are fooling yourself. Lennon said it best, when he described how to infiltrate a free people. Look it up. Only from the inside will you hope to defeat America. Political preasure will do nothing.

  • I regret only that I have but one thumbs-down to give for my country.

  • here: let me erase that for you :))))

  • @ivanmendoza93 Why do i believe you for some reason?

    :P

  • @LithiumHammer may cuz it's your nature to belive everything you see\hear, f.e. as you belive your media.

  • @ivanmendoza93 nah. if i did that, I'd be another useful idiot. I.E. member of the American Communist regime.

just to say, I was joking this entire time, if you didn't know...

  • @LithiumHammer I was not very serious too.

  • Comment removed

  • music in the intro is spanish!!! "Azul y Negro-No tengo tiempo" great hit in the 80s

  • lol, i heard that, too. they must have imported the single from Cuba

  • I don't think so. Spain is in Europe and had commercial relations with USSR since the 60's, so they must have imported the single from Spain itself.

  • i was joking actually

  • check that bowl cut out!

  • sovjet come back :(~

  • Wait, is this 1984? But with more color - cause it reminds me of it.

  • Oh man, so 80's

  • wow - so westernized, they were taken under from the rug from which they stood on

  • I don't get why people disliked the soviet union, I respect a nation forged from ashes of an empire and tempered in the blood of Christians.

  • the reason why you suck

  • horrible that women

  • but the background music sounds "italodisco" style!

  • This reminds me the "morning excercise session" of the George Orwell's novel "1984"... but softly in a way to don't make feel the people opressed

  • Wow. That's exactly what I thought when I read the title!

  • maraujo, it's reminds rather about those endless fitness stars (but yep, health matters were a matter of the state in Russia, while in USA it was a matter of commerce).

  • You shouldnt compare the USA and the Soviet Union...Americans made good movies, soviets had a union as big as Asia. Americans showed all the technology they had to everyone to make ppl say "oh shit, its great", soviets didnt show anything, they led a propaganda and a real soviet person were proud to be soviet. They were stronger than the USA and all the European coutries together. US were trying to do everything to look strong, soviets didnt show anything but everyone knew they are more powerful.

  • USA had a great complex about Sputnik - and even showed to a nation a great movie about "the first man on the moon"

  • ☭Long live the CCCP☭

  • sorry to burst your bubble but they are kinda dead

  • Then were are the Soviets now?

  • Was that Larisa Petrik, the gymnast from the 1968 Olympics, from 0:27 to the end?

  • Is it just me or does Valeria look like Janine Turner?

  • ROFL only in the 80's man. Crazy shit

  • Where's the rest of it? I was just getting started.

  • Russian girls were thin those days and good looking. Not like today.

  • today they're gorgeous too

  • They aren't bad today either. :P

But the good ones are hard to find.

  • "They aren't bad today either. :P

But the good ones are hard to find."

I hate to say this, but it's easy to "meet"/marry good looking Russian girls now if you're willing to pay.

  • fantastic

  • Lets get Physical Physical I want get Physical with you!!!!

  • lol this looks like rarly 80s american Public Access TV

  • 16-26= several poor people likely got seizures.

  • :)))

  • holy shit this is exactly like a Tim and Eric Awesome Show skit

  • Well, looks like the soviets had to start their days to get limber to work in the factories.

  • This is an excersice video FROM the Soviet Union. Theirs nothing political about it. WHAT THE HELL are you people dribbling on about? How many people in the US and Europe wake up to excercise on TV nowadays? WHO remember Mr Motivator on GMTV?

    Seriously...

  • Wow, communist computer graphics!! Must be some Speccy clone. And synth muzak! Very SpacE!

  • I was a child,but remerber this program.

  • What was it called?

  • Utreeniay gimnastika (Утренняя гимнастика)

  • wow this is inovating for 1985..

  • Bring down the capitalist government and fight for mother russia!!!

  • see what communism did in poland and czech. i'm not for usa politics but honestly we don't want another marxist-leninist-stalinist garbage.

  • I'm not sorry to inform you that those systems were not communism.

  • Im sorry to inform YOU Zealot, that that was the closest to Communism this world ever got!

  • Which doesn't mean they were communism at all.

If you depart from Los Angeles to Miami and you arrive to Houston, Texas. Have you reached Miami? No.

And by the way, no. There were systems in much lesser scales which got much closer to communism, the most important of those got destroyed by opposing parties.

  • Which prooves my point? You just said the smaller, purer Communist parties got wiped out, which means the bigger, dominent form of 'communism' (USSR, China, Vietnam) was the closest that the world ever got to Communism. Dont really understand the arguement.

  • I don't see how that proves your point. Those are not forms of communism, they're simply economical systems aiming to communism but being still inmensely far.

There was the paris commune which got much closer to communism than USSR and it was crushed by the French burgeoise. It existed, it got closer to communism than USSR, therefore USSR isn't the closest the world has got to communism.

USSR had a Socialist State Capitalism, a system pretty far from communism.

  • I understand exactly what your saying, but the Paris Commune was so small and breif (around 2 months?) that it never had the time to organise a whole nation. I think the difference here is that you are looking at a small, local scale whilst I am looking at a national/global scale. Bringing whole nations under the flag of Communism rather then the odd city here and their. The Soviets organised a whole nation. The Paris Commune didnt get that far. If you catch my drift?

  • Yeah I catch it. Matter of perspective. In my perspective the global scale comprises all scales below meaning even tha small local commune is a part of the world that got closer to communism.

The soviets organised a whole nation under the flag of communism, but just under the flag. USSR was far enough from communism to make the paris commune notable and thus relevant to this arguement.
