Skate is so much better than tony hawk on so many levels. First, it's realistic. it has a fantastic physics engine. while the tony hawk games are where you can ollie 10 feet on flat ground and you can triple heelflip benihana no foot dick grab off a skyscraper and land in a darkslide on a power line. skate gets unfairly reviewed i think, because obviously the people that review it don't skate, but skate was meant for skaters. i can't wait for skate 2! it's gonna be so sick!

The best way to make TH games real, is try to have your stats as low as possible, like in Classic Mode, take away all of your stats. It feels really different and its actually better.

Tony Hawk games and Skate games are completely different, and its hard to compare, since TH has a different format, and its more of an arcade skateboarding game over Skate which is more realistic. Tony Hawk is a legendary franchise, while Skate is upcoming. I think Tony Hawk is better..

There is something like missing flip in this game. Try to make one kickflip and quickly another (but press gently and with a minimal pause). The skateboard won't turn around but the you did two kickflips.
